Made a regretful mistake, and feeling a little down? Follow these steps to regain your confidence. Look at yourself in the mirror and be proud of who you are!
edit Steps
- 1Avoid bringing yourself down. Even when you're doing the mistake, it's a good sign that you are admitting it to yourself - you are being honest with yourself. You definitely shouldn't be ashamed of that.
- 2Stop and think. Ask yourself the question, "What did I do wrong?" For every reason, try and pair it with an alternative action. Admitting that you could've fixed it is hard, but shows your inner strength when you do.
- 3Learn from your mistake. If you find yourself repeatedly making the same mistake(s),
- 4Know that every mistake can be fixed. Don't cry over it, but try to find a solution.
- 5Ask for help. There's no wrongdoing in it and you won't look like a fool.
- 6Breathe and learn from the mistake. But don't be too hard on yourself.
- 7Tell yourself that no one is perfect. Mistakes are always going to be happening in life. Have faith in yourself and learn from your mistakes.
