3. Now, with the bottom layer selected, use the Polygonal Lasso Tool and select 2 areas in the front and on the side of the car and fill them with the colour of the neons. Something like the picture below(after you select the first area, hold down Shift key and select the second area):
Fuel is the adrenaline of any car, truck or engine. Thus, it is every vehicle owner's wish to enhance the fuel of their car and save more of it as well. With this in mind, the most innovative fuel-saving tool in the automotive industry was conceptualized and created: the Tornado Fuel Saver. An automotive air channeling tool that creates a swirling air motion, the Tornado Fuel Saver allows the air to move in a faster and more efficient way by whirling air around corners and bends. Hence, more fuel is saved. Search engine optimization, Try to Be happy
I agree, i'm new to the site and so far very impressed. This post is a big let down. The arms don't resemble anything but smoke and look creepy now that I know what they are and the car is waay too oversaturated. Not a preofeesional looking advert but keep up the good work i'll be checking back
Woott always want to learn to do this, i wana try out vehicle wrap designs, anybody know how to do them for print as in what dpi, and how you scale the cars in PS to the right size so i can design on them for print ? or does anybody know any site that can give tut or explain about vehicle wraps and designing them to scale thx.
Though a nice effect and nice tut, the idea of a horse coming out of an American Muscle car depicting horsepower sounds a little odd or stupid Sorry to say..but nonetheless a nice effect which could be adapted for other more practical uses.
This tutorial will explain the steps needed to turn this boring Prius into an awesome street racer. This tutorial is aimed at intermediate users of Photoshop, those who know most of its basic tools and how to use them. This is Part II of a two-part series. Get situated comfortably in your chair, as we pick this series up from where we left off.
"This tutorial will guide you through the steps needed to change the color of a red car. Once you learn to do this you can use any car so don't worry it won't have to be a red to black change every time. If you have any questions let me know." - FullAperture.
Back to your document and create a new layer above the car. Fill that layer with the Hello Kitty pattern. Go to Image > Adjustments > Invert to turn the pattern white.
Fusing photos into a composition is fun. Textures, brushes, and grunge elements are a great way to pull these images together. And above all else never forget that muscle cars and hot chicks are a cool and classic design combo.
This tutorial only show the basic methods used to create interface with car images. You can do the same with motor bikes or even trucks. Anyway thanks and hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
This tutorial will explain the way to obtain a half-an-hour sketch by using a superposition technique. You can use this technique as an easy way to explore the volumes and shapes without the needing of a study of the reflections (although they can be shown).
This tutorial will teach you how to give a car a whole new paint job in Photoshop. We will be changing the car's color by selecting specific parts we want to paint and subtract the parts we want to leave unpainted, then we'll fill the selection with the desired paint color, apply to it various Layer Blending Modes and finally obtain our new painted car. Below is an example of what you will be achieving by the end of this tutorial.
To do this, is highly recommended the use of the paths, because they are flexible and it is relatively easy to adapt them to the car curves and shapes. You can get a complete 'Use of the paths' tutorial following this link. Once we got the closed area of a path we can load it as a selection, by Ctrl-Clicking over it at the Paths panel (Photoshop) or using the 'Convert to Selection1 button (Painter). When we do this we get a sharpened edge around the selection area. If we need soft edges we can use the 'Feather' option from the 'Selection' menu. Once the selection is ok we can use the Eraser tool to carefully rectify or if necessary simply press the Del key to completely remove the selected area from the active layer.
Step 1 - In this tutorial, you are going to learn how to lower a cars suspension. This is very useful, especially if you are thinking of laying out money to modify your own car, but are unsure of how it will look. Find the image of the car that you would like to lower, and open it in Photoshop. I used a picture of my own car, you may use it too by right clicking on it, and selecting Save Image As. Save it to a destination on your computer, and open it in Photoshop. Pages: First 1 2 3 4 Last
I'm sure there's many variations to this tutorial, but I find this one works the best. Step 1: Select the part you want to CF - in the image below I selected the hood. Step 2: Copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) into a new layer. Then Desaturate the layer by going to Image->Adjustment->Desaturate or Shft-Ctrl-U Step 3: Create a new Layer (Layer->New). Press Ok when the box appears. Fill the layer with Herringbone 2 pattern by going to Edit->Fill and indicate Use: Pattern, then select the Herringbone 2 from the custom pattern dropdown menu. Now apply Filter->Distort->Twirl and select a value of 50. Step 4: Compress the new layer by going to Edit->Transform->Scale. What you need to do is to make the CF pattern look more smooth. I found it works best if your keep the middle part of the layer (the circle) covering the area where the hood is. To compress the layer, click on the placeholders found on the middle of each of the 4 side edges and move towards the center of the layer. You may have to also move the layer around so it's just over the hood. Step 5: Ctrl-Click on the desaturated hood layer (in this case layer 1) to make the hood your selection, then click back onto the CF layer, and copy the selection (CTRL-C) Step 6: Paste (CTRL-V) what you copied from Step 5 onto a new layer and delete the original CF layer - the layer that has the CF pattern in it. Order of layers should be as in the pic. Background on bottom, then desaturated hood, then CF hood on top. Step 7: Change the blending mode of this latest layer (the CF layer) to Overlay. Step 8: Open the Hue/Saturation box (Image->Adjustment->Hue/Saturation or Ctrl-U) and decrease the Lightness value. It's different for different images. In this one, I used a value of -80 And there you have it. Now you have a fibar hood. And that is the end of my tutorial for today. More to come soon by me here!!
The next step is easier than it looks. The window has now become a gradient, and a hold with the logo had gone onto the front and side ends of the car.
Press ctrl+t to enter free transform mode, and the right click your image select distort from the menu. Using the corner anchor point adjust your image so it looks in perspective with its location on the car.
Once cut out duplicate your car layer then goto "filter > blur > gaussian blur" blur by 3pixels then set the layer opacity to 35%. you should have something like this.
Now that your done with half of the car, all you have to do is flatten the layers (shift+ctrl+e), duplicate the image, and go to edit>transform>flip horizontal.
Now I duplicate my car photo layer and move the duplicate layer above the original and my arm photo layers. I go to filter>blur>motion blur and use a horizontal blur applied at 355px in strength.
1. We're going to edit a picture of a normal car to make it look like a tiny toy car. So go ahead and find yourself a picture of a nice (sports) car, you can also use mine if you want to!
Using the shown instrument , it's possible to create a corps of the car's security panel. First you need to represent a big ellipse, then the smaller one by keeping pressed the Alt button. Its color must be CACACA.
I've just added a few layer styles to my font type and added a picture of a heart which i also got from Google images. Now lets add our content, i wont create a specific content layout for you else you ain't going to learn lol, just use your imagination and see what you can come up with, its just trial and error see what works and what doesn't, here is a quick 2 minute job of mine.
For this step your going to need a separate image of a car of your choice, I'm using an image from digimods (full credit going to the author "norder"). Remove the background from your car image, scale it down with the transform tool and place in the middle of your navigation.
Now press "ctrl + T" to transform your image, just resize it to a reasonable size, baring in mind you need room for titles, slogans, logos etc...! ive resized mine and also flipped it as i want the car pointing the other way.
Create a new document 850x650 pixels with a white background, the theme for the layout will black and white, so i searched google images for a black and white car, and i found a really nice Porsche 911. Once you have found your images, copy them onto your canvas, resize them and place them either side. See image below.
Now finally duplicate all your navigation elements, drag to the bottom of your canvas, change the navigation text items to your copyright information. Your layout should look like this.
Then in the layers panel unhide the layer with the intercooler over the intake and go to menu Select>>Inverse the press the delete key. And this should make you car look like the intercooler fits..

6. If everything worked out just fine you should have something like this! I've used my crop tool to make the canvas a little bit smaller. And there you have it, a toy car made using photoshop! Now you're able to do this with every car you can find on the internet so have!
Use Photoshop to transform a digital photograph of your car into a flawless showroom brochure page. The obvious thing to start with is an actual photograph of your car, we don't all have a photography studio large enough to house a vehicle and the equipment to capture a professional shot but an image from your average digital camera will do for this mockup. You can help enhance your shot by using a tripod at a low angle, and try and prevent any major reflections on the car bodywork.
I’m going to show you how to make a car into a cartoon car. This tutorial is for advanced Photoshop users. So get an image or use the one below.

If you want to give your car a little personality in Photoshop, it's actually very simple. You can make just about any 'attitude' you want by using the liquify filter, and altering the eyes. You'll need a photo of the vehicle you want to transform. I choose a 2009 Camaro concept.
Now you will save the new image as we will be using it later as our displacement map. Call it whatever you want. In this case I called it "decalcopy" and saved it in a place that I could easily access it. Make sure the file is saved as a PSD "photoshop file"

Start with the magnetic lasso tool to get the outer contur. Then use Ctrl (add) or Alt (subtract) to modify yor selection. By holding down Alt-key when selecting an eliptical marquee you will subtract current selection. Use this to select smooth corners.
The very first step of drawing a vector style car is to create its lineart. Creating lineart is basically the process of drawing guidelines for your piece to help you identify the various areas of its colors. This process is very important to give your flow of work a comic look. In this tutorial we are going to draw the lineart of this Mclaren F1 using paths. You are required to have some experience in using Photoshop's Pen tool to be able to draw this car in detail.
In this tutorial I'll teach you how to change your car's window tint. This is very easy and beautiful effect. You can tupe up your car easily. 1. Open a car picture. Here's what I choose.
S1: With your pencil tool, and one pixel 1 px selected, zoom into 500% or 600%. And draw this roof. Note the boxes are 1 up 2 across, as implied by the above image. This is used in Pixel Art is made such objects as a rectangle, if you on the other hand used the 1 up 1 across method, it would go horribly wrong, and become a square. Hopefully you know what I mean. Draw the roof of the car: S2: I've always fancied a red car. So I'll be using DA1418 body work colour, and F34D51 as a highlight (The lighter red, which serves as a outline). Colour the car as I have: S3: Right. Use your red again for the sides, next to the window, Thhis blue for the main part of our windscreen: 6DBDDF The Window outline: 6DBDDF And the Highlight: A5DEF5 S4: Proceed by drawing the bonnet. You'll need to use this darker red, for the colouring AE0408, this adds depth. Highlight again, with your light red (F34D51):
We all like quick drive, beautiful cars. They look especially cool when they are tuned. In this tutorial I offer you a technique of adding your car extra wheels. At least, we'll make a car-troop-carrier .
Manga Tutorial This tutorial will show you how to create the all the rage Manga's of any car you wish. This tut will give you one rendition and you will have to work from that.
5. Grab your Air Brush tool and set it to around half the size of your selection (mine was about 45px) with Black as your colour and at around 16% Pressure/Flow. (If you have a new version of Adobe Photoshop, you may be required to select the normal Paint Brush then there is another button on the toolbar to Enable Airbrush Capabilities).
Let's continue Photoshop tuning of Lada-2112. In this tutorial we'll learn how to change bodykit. Like in the previous tutorial, we'll take some parts from "Porsche":
So, let's start. I took two car pictures which are taken from the side. You can use my pictures. Our goal now is to learn basics of Photoshop tuning, and these pictures are perfect for this tutorial. Later we'll learn more complicated tuning. I took a picture of Lada-2112 :0)
This is a turorial on car photomanipulation with adobe photoshop (7.0). This is meant to show you how to take rims off of another car (the donor) and put it onto your planned vehicle.
Finally layout the composition and add some additional elements to the artwork such as sales blurb from the manufacturer's website to finish off your showroom brochure page.
Back to your document and create a new layer above the car. Fill that layer with the Hello Kitty pattern. Go to Image > Adjustments > Invert to turn the pattern white.
Load up your car image and duplicate your background layer, then Grab the Lasso tool (L) and begin to draw around the car like the pic on the below, as well as going all the way around the top of the picture.
Select all the body work of the car. I used the magnetic lasso toll to get the rough out line. Using Alt+click sets it to subdract so then went round the lights ect.
Now with the new dialog open put a "tick" in the "colorize" box. now drag the "hue" slider all the way to the left or type in "0", now slide the "saturation" slider in the middle or type in a number, like "60" your car should now be a red color.
You have to check that the wheel's are moving. Go to Filter > Liquify and start from the back: 2. Now it's time to add lights to he car. Go to - Filter > Render Lens Flare. Use the following settings: Repeat this 4 times and your image should look something like this:
This tutorial will guide you through the steps needed to change the color of a red car. Once you learn to do this you can use any car so don't worry it won't have to be a red to black change every time.
2. First you will have to select the tyres one by one (I used my polygonal lasso tool) but you can use any tool to select it. When you've selected your first tyre you should go to (edit cut) and paste it on a new layer (edit paste). You should do exactly the same with the second tire! Make sure you do this coorectly, a screenshot of this second step can be seen below this text.
Check the tires when you shoot the car, they should have no marks on the side, also when the thread is in view make sure no small gravel remains in it, this gives a very untidy impression in your shot.
The first thing we will do is lowering it. There is a trick to this however. Instead of actually lowering the entire car we will extend the bottom skirt so it goes closer to the ground.
7. Now again with Elliptical Marquee Tool draw new circle, and with Gradient Tool fill the circle with the color #EFB08F, #EB261D. Now take a look at the image below copy the circle and change it's size (make it small ) and paste it in at the front of the car.
Start with opening your favorite car image, choose whatever car you like and would like to tune it with Photoshop. We will choose an old russian national car Lada model 2111. Our main goal is to change the car color, tint the windows, add some cool stylish rims and some simple spoilers. So, let?s begin, here is the image we choose:
Are you one of those people that lie awake at night wondering what a roller skate car would look like? Yeah, I thought so Well your in luck as this is the knowledge that is about to be dropped on you.
Use the Pen Tool (press P) to create an outline of the sports car. Press Clrt+Click to make a selection of the outline in Path Layer, then cut this object and paste it to the background image.
