All professional and many mid-range digital cameras support the capability to capture images in the RAW file format. Each manufacturer takes a different approach to doing so, but for the most part, the editing of these files can be done fairly painlessly in Photoshop CS(or Photoshop 7 if you have the Camera Raw plug in). Today we'll take a look at the Photoshop CS Camera Raw Dialog Box and what tweaks you can make to your images using the two modes of Photoshop CS Camera Raw; Basic and Advanced. The Camera Raw dialog box gives you the capability to quickly edit images that are in the RAW file format. When you do edit them in this format, you retain all the original image data that was captured by your camera's image sensor or CCD. Unlike with JPEG, no filters or any adjustments are made by the camera when captured in this format.

Thirdly we are going to be creating a header for the box. So select the area of your box (Ctrl + Click the layer in the layers window). Select the rectangular marquee tool and while holding down the Alt key drag across from the bottom right up to the top left (leaving 30-40 pixels at the top) - this will deselect most of the selection so we are just left with the header part.

Learn how to create impressive mock-up designs. In this tutorial, you will learn how to use the Vanishing Point Filter to get quick and professional presentation results. Tabbed boxes in sidebars on blogs seem to be popping up everywhere so in this tutorial I'll be teaching you how to design a professional looking tabbed box.

When it comes to search boxes, the simplest design is usually the best. The look of the traditional input field and submit button is easy to understand for both experienced and inexperienced users; therefore, designers often stick to the default and don't mess around with the holy grail.

Before we begin let me say that this is really easy tutorial. You just have to know to work with the Free transform option (move tool) which is a piece of cake. Do you want to design an attractive box for your product? With Photoshop, you can easily create one, just like this:

This tutorial teaches you to draw a candy gift box. You will also learn how to simply duplicate and arrange the layers to give a 3d look to the object and how to use autoshapes in professional way :)Final output can be seen below :

Draw the rays on the box now with . Draw a single ray at the first. Then make more rays like the son's ones. Accentuate all the rays in the window and pressing on Ctrl+E, combine them. Blending Options will help to set out everything like in the picture.

Make sure your shade layers are above every other layer at ALL times. Select the rectangular marquee tool once again, on a new layer called "shoebox_middle" create another rectangle like this.

You can now add some details on your product box and some shadow. This is a virtual software box for your product. You can use it on the web site or for multimedia presentations:

Create a new document 500x500 pixels, create 2 new layers one called "spine" and label the other "main" on the main layer draw out a box 274 x 385 pixels and on the spines layer draw out a box 66x385 pixels, draw the boxes with the "rectangular marquee tool". Then add a 1 pixel black stroke to both and position them like so.

3. Select the Layer1 and choose from menu Edit > Free Transform (Ctrl + T). Make the size smaller so that it looks like a sticker and align it as shown to the left. Make sure the 2 S of Starbucks is aligned parellel to box"s edge. Next press and the Move Tool (V) and apply the effect.

With Photoshop CS, RAW format support is built in. To open a RAW format image inPhotoshop CS, you simply launch the file browser, click on a RAW image, and the Camera RAW dialog box opens, which enables you to tweak various aspects of the RAW image file.

6. Now it's time to give depth to the box. You can add one or more Layer style , as drop shadow, bevel and emboss, inner shadow, satin, stroke. It's up to you. When you are satisfied with the result of the effects, press Enter on the keyboard, then you can use the same technique to add more boxes. Remember that you can copy and paste the Layer styles just right-click on the styled layer, choosing Copy layer style, clicking on the non-styled layer, right-click and choose Paste style layer.

Next you need to right click the shape layer and duplicate it, once you've done this you need to click Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal this will turn the shape around. Move the shape across to the other side of the content box and you should end up with something like this,

9. Next I added the heading to my content box. For 'Latest' I used #04a7ca, and for 'Twitter' I used #f84c6c, and a generic font, helvetica.

Well the main part of our "xpized box" is done, just add in the header some text with a white "Verdana" fonts with a little Drop Shadow, in the header, and some text with a white "Verdana" fonts (without antialliasing) in the little box in the footer.

Press SHIFT+ CTRL + N to create a new layer. In addition, fill the new selection with #ececec. Right click on your newly created layer, click blending options, and enter the settings below.

3. Now select the whole box (not the top part) and go "select - Transform Selection". And Minimize it a bit.

Grab the Slice Tool it looks like a knife, and NOT the Slice SELECT Tool. Now zoom in about 600% so it is easier to slice up the box. To slice a section all you have to do is click and drag and it will create a box(section/slice). Slice up the navigation box to look like what we got below. Be sure to pay extra attention to where the boxes end and such. Parts of the sliced are zoomed in for easier viewing in the picture below.

7. Now you will have something like that shown to the left, and if you like you can keep it like this, and finish the tutorial here, however, I will now show how to add a nice highlight to it.

4. Ctrl + click the layer and use the gradient tool to draw a gradient from top to bottom with the darker colour at the top. You can choose any colour for this, but bear in the mind the layout of your website and whether you want it to blend in or whether you want it to stand out.

1. Open a new document 400 x 400 and fill it with (#72828b). Now make a new layer from Layer - New Layer. With your Rounded Rectangle Tool make a shape not very big, as big as your box should be. Fill it up with (#e7ebeb).

You will see the Hue/Saturation box below click on colorize. If you play around with the setting you and match you web site color scheme without redoing the entire tutorial.

- Change your content boxes colors to match your layouts theme, when designing a website, it is always good to stick to a theme!

6. Now it's time to give depth to the box. You can add one or more Layer syle, as drop shadow, bevel and emboss, inner shadow, satin, stroke.

This tutorial explains you how to use Photoshop to create product boxes. You can also select both sides and create a white background in back of them. Now, apply the Drop Shadow to the layer. Same idea can be applied with your personal product.

[3] Now fill the Background with the help of Gradient Tool, then take the Elliptical Marquee Tool create a new shape.
