Photoshop Tutorials » 3D » Rack

Step 1: Let's start out by creating a new file. I used a 400400 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a white color. Create a new layer set called 'Server'(Layer > New > Layer Set). Then create a new layer(Layer > New > Layer). Now choose the Rounded Rectangle Tool from your tools palette and set the radius setting to 40px with anti-aliased checked for smooth corners. In your new layer draw a black rounded rectangle, size 11144 px.

Create a futuristic hosting rack with Photoshop. In this tutorial, you will learn how to draw objects by creating shapes, adding styles, and repeating objects.

In the attachment you will find only one server. please duplicate this layer a few times ( to duplicate a layer be sure you have the layer selected , then press Ctrl+J )
