1. Open a new image Save the file as texture.psd. If you already have one, use the one you have to add layers to.

This is a simple effect that creates a sand storm with a Hieroglyphs pattern. Useful for designs related to ancient Egypt.

This is how I got the effect at the beginning of this tutorial. However, if you want your text to be "sanded" in, then "sanded" out, skip the steps we just did and go back to the simple animation. Once you go from 100% to 0%, or vice versa, just make a new frame and back the way you came.

Once you're done with the settings press okay and enjoy your very own signature in the sand. Imagine, all this without even owning a buldozer:
