With the Satin Blending Option added, it will add white stripes to our text, just as the stripes in a candycane. There is only one thing left to do! Add a Color overlay with a deep red:

4. Select a pinkish color. Because it makes most people think of candy or something edible(....like babies). For your reference, I'm using these settings..... Color Overlay >> #9e5859. Let's name this layer 'Base'.

2. Now you need to write out your text. First get the Horizontal Type Tool and write out your text in a dark purple color (#b5406f).

1. Start by creating a new doc, my size was 400x400 and write some text in the middle of the canvas (I wrote Candy). It's important to use a single font.
