That makes for a more interesting effect. Let's work a little more on combining different scanline techniques. Try combining the two dot scanlines I showed you in Scanlines: The Basics: Before you can delve deep into the potential of scanlines, you've got to learn the basics. Let's get started. Here's the image I'll be using for both this and the expert scanlines tutorial: Start by opening the picture where you want to add the scanlines. Then you have to find out how large the picture is, Image > Image Size. Make a new document (Ctrl+N) with the same width as your image and 2 pixel high with white background. Hmm, the width isn't actually that important, the pattern will work whatever width you choose to work on :o)
