Retouching photo is fun! And with the Channel Mixer tool and Lighting Effects filter, we can greatly enhance the photo from its raw color channels and set focus on what we want without destroying the original image

[2] Open the image you want to turn in to sketch. Go Layer>New Fill Layer>Solid Color and chose grey color. Click OK.

Learn how to retouch eyes naturally with Photoshop and not overdo it. Many professional photographers retouch the eyes to enlarge the pupils as a natural and subtle enhancement.

Then I chose Adjustment Layer from the bottom of the Layers palette, and clicked Brightness/Contrast. I set Contrast to +40.

It's important before we retouch a photograph that we calibrate our monitor if we haven't done that yet. There are several ways to calibrate a monitor and the most common way is to make use of Adobe Gamma, a utility that comes with all latest versions of Photoshop. I'm not going to explain in detail how you can calibrate your monitor, but I would like to share some links with you that might be helpful:

Step 2: Duplicate your image (hit Ctrl-J) and go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Fill in 6.1 for the radius and hit OK. By blurring this layer, we can make her skin smoother and brighter

Today I'm going to teach you how to create two great effects for photo retouch. The first can actually be used on almost every photos and maybe other graphics to. The second is best suited for portraits or other pictures where there is an object that's in focus so Let's start!

Ok, now use Spot Healing Brush Tool to hide all the imperfections of the skin, wrinkles, etc from the face and neck (a wrinkled neck reveals your true age).

The first thing we will do is to apply some warmth to the image, because the skin looks pale and cold, so go to image -> adjustments -> levels, and in this panel you will have to drag the 3 handles a bit closer to where the levels are high, this brings up the values of colors.

First thing I see is that all the colors looks kind of pail, here is how I will make the colors come forward and look beautiful.

Lets read & understand of the following steps

Step 2: Duplicate the layer by pressing Ctrl+J and name it 'Layer 1'. Now right click on the duplicated layer and select Convert to Smart Object. Duplicate the 'Layer 1' and name it 'Layer 2'.

My second Photoshop CS3 tutorial. In this video, I continue working with masks to do a standard beauty retouch. I keep it simple and only correct some blemishes and wrinkles and smooth the skin. We'll do color correction and a bit of facial reconstruction (with the liquefy tool) in a later tutorial.

Lets start right now! The image is this one

Move your mouse to the area you want to clone(1). Here we want to use the skin on the man's nose to replace the red patches on his face(2).

In the Selective Color dialog box, change the Colors dropdown to Blacks, the Method to Relative, and change the Black slider to 7%. This adds a little darkness our eyelashes.

NOTE: You can do very much you want here, just experiment with it for surprising combination.
