- On shadow Layer, click menu Edit ?? Transform ?? Flip Vertical, and drag the shadow text (on shadow Layer) to below of your main text (Vista Sidebar Layer), now your document will look like:

[19] Thanks for read this Photoshop Tutroial. I hope this is a good tutorial & u can use these Photoshop Techniques in your Graphics Design Project.

This tutorial aims to show you how to create a slick stylish wallpaper for your desktop using the Adobe Photoshop CS3, this can be used on any operating system, but is designed for Windows Vista's look and feel. It teaches transformation tools, such as distort and layer mask techniques. It also shows mirroring effect.

7. In the same Layer Style window select Drop Shadow, and set it to 100%, 45, distance 3px and size 7 px. Click OK.

This step will create the blurred rounded rectangle that is behind the text. This effect is quite common in Vista and is a good technique. It takes the focus of the background and places it on the text, but still shows the beautiful scene behind.

Create a new document 800950 pixels with a transparent background select the rectangular marquee tool and create a rectangle 800 pixels wide and about 215 pixels high. Fill the rectangle with a linear gradient using black and a dark grey color. Select the pen tool & a brush size of about 2-6 pixels. Ceate a squiggley line using the color #4c842d. Add an outer glow layer style to your line using the settings below.

You should be left with something like this.

Gradient Overlay

Once you have downloaded the above file open up snowflakes.jpg and resize to what ever size your wallpaper is intended for, i shall be using a small resolution for the purpose of this tutorial.

1) Create a new image 256256 pixels with transparent background. Rename the first layer as “background?

And Inner Glow, with a blue color #56c3da :

1. Start off by making a background. Since this will probably be a graphic for a website, and we want to stick with the web 2.0 standard, I suggest making a gradient bg, with slightly darker hue at the top, fading towards the middle, but do not make the hue dramatically different. Same colour only a tiny bit darker. 2. Take some picture you are going to put inside your Vista-like frame. We will go ahead with the style and use a photo of a leaf with some water drops on it, which I pulled from Photoshop Photo Stock website. This image is not free for commercial use so we only put it here for learning purposes. Take your picture, copy and paste it unto your gradient background. Make sure there are at least about 50 px of distance between the image and the edges, otherwise we will not see the frame properly.

[1]-First of all Open New Document of Custom size,Height & Width 300500 pixels,Resolution 72 & Mode RGB Color

Start a new document. Click on the [ Custom Shape Tool (U) ]

Step 1: Create the following shape - DOWNLOAD THE SHAPE HERE

Select the Pen Tool and make sure that the Shape Layers from the Properties Panel on the top is activated.

We are going to start the layer labeled 1. Right-click this layer and choose Blending Options. Click on Inner Shadow and input the values exactly as shown in the screenshot below.

Using the Burn Tool and Dodge Tool , shade and highlight the selected area once again as shown in the screenshot below.

Create document 640480 pixels. Fill it with white color. Create a new layer name it circle1?. Select Brush Tool (B). Make a circle similar to mine: Master Diametar: 300px Hardness: 100%

I saw a nice other tut on grafika and would love to be translated to: First Part of the tut:

Step 1 Open a new file -> Insert new layer. Draw a circle using the circular marquee selection tool. Save the selection by going to Select -> Save selection and name it "circle". Now color the circle with the color #224599. Then apply a radial gradient using #224599 and a lighter shade of the same color from bottom right of circle to little left and up.

Let's now work with the styles. First select true glass gradient colors. I've used : #656a6d #000000; #434343 #dedede; Something like that: Apply gradient style to layer and you should see: The next add some stroke to layer I've used 1 px dark stroke

1. Start by opening up a new 100px * 100px file 2. Create a new layer and using the Pen Tool draw something like this

4. Now that we have created the button, let?s make it glossy. Select the Selection Tool and select this area:
