Photoshop Tutorials » Design » Disco

In this tutorial we'll create a psychedelic logo for a disco/pub. Quite a lot of techniques underwent in to creating this logo. But the catch is using color halftone for creating disco lights within the text.

Ok, it is time to add letter ???o.??? I think it will be better way to add disco sphere instead of this letter. First of all we should find some disc shpere clipart. Go to Google images and find some proper picture of it or feel free to use mine. Then bring this picture to our canvas an resize it. Now our logo should look like as below:

Tired of old boring prints? Try out this fun photo effect on your photos that you can print out to impress your friends. From a distance, it will look like a normal photo but view the printed image up close and you'll see an abstract mosaic pattern that resembles a disco floor. This Photoshop effect is also great for enlarging low resolution photos into poster-size prints.

Select the orb by ctrl+clicking on the layer and re size so its about the same size as the first ball we made.

Looks not good yet! Ok, next we'll add cool white lines to the background. Now before we can start making our lines, I would like to note you that you need to get out the Brush Tool before and set up with the following settings:

Now it's time to create the girl's highlight. You should make it this way. We'll double the girl's background and give to the duplicate a color (code c6c6f7) and place it under the original one, move it to the left about a couple of millimeters. Now on this background we'll create another one - a mask - background, like in the picture. Then we'll chose the mask - background and using the black - color brush, we'll delete the right side of the girl's highlight. Like in the picture.
