This is good, you kinda have to think for yourself for some of the steps but it work Nice Tutorial It is missing a few steps I believe I used this tutorial to make something for one of my friends. Here, if you wanna see it [the blood effect is ugly I know D= ] http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd149/VietSoldier117/YansCloudSigcopy-3.jpg

Start with a large black canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set and name it Blood Stain Text Effect. Now type your name, use font Gill Sans, 90 pt, strong and #AFAFAF for color.

Now rotate the Canvas by 90 degree, use Filter --> Stylize --> Wind once and rotate the canvas back to the original position.

1. Create new file with 72 PPI and white background. The mode has to be Grayscale. Type the text with thick font.

Ok very simple blood effect on text instead of trying to find a font that looks like blood because they are all rather lame and no realistic

Now rotate the Canvas by 90 degree, use Filter --> Stylize --> Wind once and rotate the canvas back to the original position.

If you are looking for a unique text effect idea for you logo or banner project, Here is an easy photoshop tutorial on how to make a Scratch and blood tained pattern Text Effect using photoshop techniques.

Your text should now have lost its blur, however, the blotches and text will have "merged" together somewhat. Now we need to select our text and blood drops, to do this we are going to select by color. Choose Select > Color Range. Use the eye dropper and click on a black portion of your canvas. Click ok, and your text should be selected.
