3. Now Type your Text.. Whatever you want but it have to be White... sorry if you can see the letters

Here I applied it to some shapes words using the above technique, only changed the original color from step 1 and set the fill level of the text to about 40%

Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and click the Text Layer in the layers pallet, doing so will make a selection of everything inside of that layer; in this case, our text:

Hold ctrl/cmd and click on the layer containing your text to select the whole layer. Then create a new layer by pressing ctrl/cmd + shift + N, and reduce your selection by going Select || Modify || Contract and entering a value of around 3, depending on the size of your image. Go Edit || Fill or use the fill tool (G) to fill your selection with a lighter blue. I will use #0682C2, which is again taken from the QuickTime logo.

2. Change Normal which appears under the Layers tab in the Layers box to Overlay. Then go to Layer, Rasterize, Type and add a Drop Shadow to your text (now an object) by going to Layer, Layer Style, Drop Shadow. Change the Size of the shadow to 8.

Next, open up the Layer Styles for the text layer and goto Drop Shadow. We add the Distance as 5px, and same with Size. Next, goto Bevel and Emboss, and Color Overlay. Use the settings below as a guide.

Ok, so it isn't quite like the effect of the iMac action, but the process is very similar. Now lets see what sort of variations we can come up with for this puppy!
