Calculate the cross product of two vectors given in Cartesian coordinates.

    Define two vectors
    and
    where a, b, c, d, e and f are constants
    .
  2. 2
    Form the matrix
  3. 3
    Calculate the determinant of the matrix
  4. 4
    The determinant of the matrix produces a vector w that is the cross product of the vectors u and v. This is written w = u x v.
