Today, we're going to create a cool looking custom signature for a video game website. I'm going to use the game, de Blob as an example. First, create a document 50080, with the settings below. Take your marquee tool and grab the entire layer, right click and give it a stroke. Make it one pixel, and black. Your document should look like this.

Title: Signature Creation Description: In this tutorial, we will show you how to make an amazing signature based only on using the image of your choice.

Let me supply you with the assets we will be using in this tutorial. Below are all the pieces and parts you will need to make this signature. You can download the Pack for free by saving the target here

Again, select the brush tool. Select some cool brushes as with the yellow brushing. This time use black and brush on the sides.

Create a new canvas with this size: 400px x 100px Create your background to match the following: Follow these steps: Filter > Blur > Radial Blur Filter > Distort Glass Filter > Texture > Cracquelure Press CTRL U, make sure you have these settings from top 360, 0, -23 Type on your name using the text tool in the corner and your finished.

Now add a color balance layer and pick a nice color for your sig, but don't be afraid to use more than one color balance layer.

Open up a new document 500x500. Your image will be cropped to size later, this is not the final size of your signature.

then go to Edit -> Define Pattern and call it whatever you want. Next select the area of the signature you want to have the pattern over it, usually the bottom or the top, like this: Then you would go to Layer -> New Fill Layer -> Pattern. And select your pattern that you just created. I found a scale of 5% to be the sweet spot for my pattern, but everyone is different so just experiment until you find a size that your happy with. Now you should have something along these lines, your pattern may be a little different: Next Were going to add some nice text to that bar at the bottom, for mine I just used the Alexis Bold font (Size 30, AA: Crisp). Make a new text box and write your text, then change the blending modes to match the following below: Also don't forget to change the layer blending option to "Hard Mix" and the Fill to 72% (or as you feel necessary), see below if you don't get what I mean: After all that blending work you should have something like below: The next thing your going to want to do is insert some models or pictures into the background to fill the empty space, i just googled for some counter-strike images and decided to use these two edited images: After putting them into the signature, and rotating them a bit, it turned out like this: The next step is to put your name into this signature, since my name is Avery, ill use that in this example. The font I used is called "Ethnocentric", what were going to do is create two text layers, one with size 24 for your tag and the other at size 36 (depending on how long your name is you might want to use either smaller or larger sizes) for your name. Make the blending settings for both of them the same as below: Now you should have something like this: What we really need next is a border, its quite simple to add a nice one which will do, if you want to be fancy you can do more. Go to you background layer, right click on it and select Blending options, check Inner Glow, and make the settings the same as mine for a nice glowing border effect: Now it should look like this, the border was to take the suddenness (if that's a word) of the edge off: Basically the only thing we haven't done is add a nice abstract or techy background on our signature. You can find some excellent brushes at Deviant Art, after fooling around with some abstract brushes and color overlays on the "TAG |", I came out with this: The color I used that worked out quite nicely against the black background for the brushes was #55677a, which by the way looks like this:

Step 4: If you don't like the darkness/brightness ratio, use a Contrast balance layer. Now, we are going to add some color to it. Since my render is red, and I want it to blend in I am going to use these

Next, create a new layer, and get the 100 px soft brush, and brush in black around the edges of the sig. Set the layer to 50% opacity. So it looks like this:

Welcome to my full sig tut. In this tut I'm going to teach you how to make a sig like this:

Meh. the signature so far looks kind of dull at the moment tbh. How about some coloring to liven it up a bit?? Take your render layer and go Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur 8.0, now press Ctrl+T for free transform and stretch the render out to fit part of the sig. Now set that layer to Overlay, and duplicate the layer to give it more depth.

And place it on the left side of the signature, duplicate it and put this one on the right side of the signature and set the both layers to overlay.

9. Ok, now that we nailed the Brush, lets continue with our signature. Get the Smudge tool (R) . Then, take the T brush you just made and go to brushes on the top right part and use the following settings:

Sometimes your making a sig and for some reason it doesnt feel right, well in this tutorial I am gonning to show you a few tips and tricks to make your signatures much better. This is for newbies and advanced sig makers.

Now we are going to add special effects. Take the pencil tool, make a new layer, and draw a straight line. Repeat process by making another one above the lower one. The two layers with white lines. Filter . Blur > Motion blur > set to 35 same with the other one. Add text in between white lines.

Create a new level below the moon level, hit D on your keyboard and then go to "Filters - Render - Clouds".

10. When all of this is done you should have something like this, I've also added a 1px black border to finish it off! And there you go, a simple yet wonderful pink signature or header for a website of forum.

First of all I sugest saving your work afetr each layer, you wouldn't want to lose your work. Then you have your finished signature save again as a psd and then start the multicoloring.

This was my final result, in this tutorial you learned the stroke technique and how to make a great looking sprite signature with all sorts off balance layers

11. You can also add a little bit of text (linear dodge, opacity 50%). Now in this last step just make a new layer and go to (image - apply image and sharpen it (filter - sharpen - sharpen). Now we're finished, enjoy your new signature!

3. Now its time to add the Text. Make the text around 48size and find a suitable font for the type of sig you are making, i used an army font since it had camo as the background. Place the text on the rectangle by using the move tool Now goto The Blending options again for the text.(Layer>Layer Style>Blending Options) Add a black stroke to it, and make it 1 pixel *Note* Blending options apply to any layer, text, or shape! Here is what you get

10. When all of this is done you should have something like this, I've also added a 1px black border to finish it off! And there you go, a simple yet wonderfull pink signature or header for a website of forum.

Duplicate your stock layer again ( move to top ) m now smudge your signature towards the edges , erase over the face and set to luminosity at 100%

Hey This is going to be a quick Photoshop tutorial demonstrating how to create an Abstract gaming signature. This can be used with any type of game. I've used the new Crysis game, but this can be done with any genre. I recommend a first person shooter, or similar as this kind of signature blends in well. Click on any of the image to enlarge. For this tutorial you will need: Photoshop or Similar A grunge brush pack (provided below) A suitable image (also provided) A cool font (provided as well) About 10 - 20 minutes. Step 1) The first step is to prepare your canvas. This can of course be any size. If a forum limits the size of an image to 200 x 50 pixels use a canvas that is 200 x 50 pixels. I'm going for a canvas about 500 x 150. This gives me plenty of space to work with. When your canvas loads set the background layer to a normal layer by double clicking on it and selecting "Ok" when prompted. Step 2) On the base layer set a gradient of White to Black. Step 3) Create a new layer. Use the gradient overlay function to set the gradient from Black to Transparent. Make sure the reversed option is selected to get the black to the bottom. In the blending mode options select the blending mode of the layer to Screen. Step 4) Grab some abstract brushes. I recommend this one from deviant art, or Google abstract brush for some inspiration. Set the brush colour to black and apply some brush strokes to the page. Just click in some random places with different brushes. Step 5) Create a new layer. Set the brush colour to white. Apply the same effect again to the new layer. Step 6) This step is to add in your image. I've chosen the Crysis image. My original was found here. I've cropped and removed the background. Place the image so it has good layout on the page. Corners are always very good options. Step 7) The next step is to apply and effect to blend the image into the background. Since the image is dark and uses the black, grey and white colours i've chosen the Multiply option. This produces a very scratch effect as the layers underneath are shown through. One other good way to improve the image is add a layer mask and and use a black to white gradient to remove parts of the image gradually. I've done this on the bottom of the image. Step 8) The final step is to add some text. I've used Kremlin. I've coloured the text black and reduced the opacity. Save this image out. You now have a cool abstract forum signature which you can use. Personally I am very pleased with the out come of this image. Click for the full version. Please leave a comment with your creations and any further ideas.

Now with the "Smudge tool" still selected just simply smudge the image around untill you get the effect that you are happy with. TIP: When smudging try to only smudge in the same direction. Here is how my turned out: Step 3: Create a new layer and call it "Brighten" and set the blending mode to "overlay" Select the brush tool and choose a 200 pixel soft brush. Now with the "Brush tool" brush small amounts in areas that you want to brighten up and make more interesting. Lower the "Opacity" untill it looks good, I set mine about 50%. This can be done with multiple layers and different brush sizes. Here is how mine is looking:

Step 4: Using the Move tool located on the left sidebar (see image below), click on the Spiderman image and move it to your blank 400 x 100 document. Play around with the image until it sits nicely.

You have read this tutorial from http://www.cg-files.com. If you read this tutorial from anywhere else, please send a quick message to [email protected]

Now place your render in the canvas, I'm using the one of Prince of Persia provided at the bottom of this page. Take out the smudge tool and use these settings:

Great Stuff I've posted this question and Still no reply; As a SEO I need to insert Text For the Most part I use Dreamweaver, How do I export the Kewl stuff (webpage layouts) from Photoshop and Import them into Dreamweaver where I can insert Html?

This tutorial is going to teach you how to create a stylish forum signature with various attractive elements. We will go through the process of retouching the background image using Blending Modes, adding typographical and pixel decorations using fonts and the Pencil Tool and finally typing in your text or nickname on the signature and making it stand out through Layer Styles. Your final result is going to look quite similar to example below:

We will only be using photoshop during this tutorial, so all of or images are going to be photos, not objects generated in 3d programs. Start off be getting a nice cityscape, you can use the one I found below, which I came across with an easy search of "city" at http://www.sxc.hu/ You can see I have adjusted the brightness and contrast, it may look strange now, but we wont some contrast in our sig.

This image has been cropped and resized to match the signature size and is pasted on the new layer. You can get more such images from gamewallpapers.com

[22]-Now select '237B17? color in Background & Forgroud & after that create the following Leaves with the help of Brush Tool Thanks for read this Photoshop Tutorial.I hope you have Enjoyed & the final Output of this Tutorial is shown below

Next, type your name onto the signature(or whatever you want it to say). Duplicate this text and place it under the original. Goto LAYER>>RASTERIZE>>LAYER. Then motion blur this duplicated layer. Set the angle to 90 and distance to 25. Add whatever you want to finish it off.

It may not be the best outcome (I like the gold one at the top better...) but I hope I have taught you to do a pretty cool abstract signature. Thanks, hope you enjoyed.

Now you can add some cool text on your signature, but I'm not gonna tell you how to do that, use your own imagination for that!

8. Right now it looks a little messy but we are making progress. Now lets begin some trendy shape designs. Select the polygon lasso tool in the left tool bar. Use this tool to make several different shapes on your canvas. I made an object that look like a lcd screen and two abstract polygon shapes. Look at my example and in case you couldn't see it, i numbered it. But the final design wont have the numbers, haha.

Now your done, I just showed you some simple ways to make a pretty good looking sig, now you can switch up these layer setting ands colors and blurs to match your ideas, but this is just the general ways to make a sig

And that completes the tutorial, here's how my final result ended up after touching it up and adding some text and a little border effects:

6. Now you have done that duplicate your render layer (right mouse on the layer and select duplicate). Then select the top render layer and smudge on the right side of your render. This is what you should have so far. It matters on how much you smudge on how good your sig will look. As you can see I also removed the chains from the render myself using the eraser.

Now here is where i find a render and put one in. There are certain renders you want to look for when making tech sigs. Mech's and vehicles are normally the way too go, but you can also have robots, C4d's and other renders that can look well with tech brushes. Its really up to you, normally the render will have you thinking (man this could really good for a tech sig). If not then probably better not to use it. In this signature, i used a mech.

1. First open a new document that is the size you would like your sig to be, I used 200x400px, and make sure your colors are black and white by pressing (D). And go to Filter > Render > Clouds. Press ctrl+f to randomize this until you get a design you like.

Chinese Military laid there hand on Segway and demonstrated on Tuesday their skills at balancing and shooting while on Segways during a series of drills of anti-terrorist units in [] Continue Reading

5. Now go to Layer > layer style > Blending options and go to color overlay. Set the mode to Color Burn or linear burn, but make sure to choose a very light color.

Now This is where your have to find a good Render for your sig. Normally for Tech sigs people usually use Robot Renders or Cars. In this case i'll use a robot. Google and Yahoo are you Best friends. Now you will have to cut out the render. You should have something like this:

1.) Open up a new canvas like the one below. My canvas is 325 x 100, which is always a good size for a signature. Try to keep your signatures small as people are drawn to big effects in small pieces sometimes :

1. Open a new document (350x120 - transparent) and press D to reset your colors to black and white. Now get your abstract brushes and click wildly with them until u get something like this:

Make a new document 400 by 110 and fill it with black color

Start off simply by placing your render into your signature (click here for mine). Choose a good color from the render to use as your background color. In this case a Dark red or a reddish brown color was added as the background. This can be chosen with the eyedropper or just getting a color out of the Color picker. Click here for the picture I used.

1) Start off making your size.I like to keep most of my sigs at a traditional size, but for manips, you can use diff sizes as long as it works with your photo. Then the 1st thing I do is I got to filter>render>clouds.Make sure the colors are black and white(We will color them later on)

Start a new document of size 350100.

If you think it looks hard, think again, I'm going to tell you every step. So lets get started.

Seriously though, GI is is very messy at the moment and needs a good clear out and a few things correcting, even the moaners can't moan about us wanting to improve things.

Make a new document 400 by 90 and fill it with cyan or light blue.

Now in this first step, start out by filling your background with a color that you think goes well with the stock. Now, grab a stock that has about the same color scheme as your render, and apply the spatter filter to it. Do this by going in the filter menu, the brush strokes sub-menu, and then selecting spatter. Mess around with the settings until you find something that you like. Use fairly high settings though, they seem to look best. Now set this spatter layer to difference, and lower the opacity to about 85-90%. Now erase parts that do not look good or that you just don't like. In this case the eraser used was about 27px and was a 100% hard brush. Use what you think suites your signature best though. This is something like what you should have right now:

To start off you will need to find some cinema 4d renders. You can either make these yourself with a program called Maxon Cinema 4D or you can find them here. Now, start off by making a new document and filling it with a very dark gray, nearly black. Now add some of these Cinema 4D renders into your signature on either Screen or Lighten or Linear Dodge. There doesn't have to be much flow to the signature yet, just add them basically at random. This is what the signature looks like at the moment:

Seriously though, GI is is very messy at the moment and needs a good clear out and a few things correcting, even the moaners can't moan about us wanting to improve things.

Begin by making a new canvas any size that you would like, I chose 450120. Fill it with black.

Start off by adding your render (click here for mine). Now fill the background with a nice color that goes well with your render. It does not technically have to be from the render, but it must look good with the render. The choice of background color in this sig was an off blue color. This matches the render very well.

Start off by making a new document (File > New). In this case, the signature's size was 400px x 180px. Now, add your render or stock, do not resize it. For the one I used, click here. It should be almost unrecognizable (so pick a random part of your render or stock, not the face or something recognizable). In this case, the chest section of the Gears of war render took up the entire canvas. You should have something like this right now:

Ok this is an abstract tutorial which means that we will not be using a render. For this tutorial we will need the following: a good set of bruishes some inspiration musik (its liquid tension experiment for me) and some knowledge of photoshop (not toomuch) do some bruishing and go to layer > flatten image, what that dose is set as your background.

Make a new document 400 by 90 and fill it with black .

Seriously though, GI is is very messy at the moment and needs a good clear out and a few things correcting, even the moaners can't moan about us wanting to improve things.

Make a new document, 400 by 110 and fill it with black

1. Create a new document (377*130).

Make a new document 400 by 110 and fill it with black

1. First of all, we are going to make a nice background. Open a new document. Lets say 350 * 150 pixels.

2. Select your paint bucket tool and fill the background layer with #d392f8.

Make a new document 400 by 90 and fill it with pink

Lets start by adding some balance layers to our signature, you can find them here:

It is easiest for straight lines to make the syringe either completely vertical or completely horizontal. I chose horizontal.

1) Create a New File in photoshop approximate 500*150px in size. Use rounded rectangle tool (10px radius) to draw a rectangle taking up the most of the space, as the image below.

There are different ways to get the image in your computer: with a scanner (the best), digital camera or cellphone camera (the worst).

Okay, so let's get this started. First of all make new document, by going to File -> New or simply click ctrl+N. Choose your size depending on your templates size where you are making this for. Size used for this banner is 600120 pixels. Set the Background Contents to Transparent.
