Hi my name is Michael Taylor and I am the owner of this webpage www.pixel-vortex.com. I created this webpage to provide a community where people with the same interest as me can get together and help each other, learn from each other and make new friends. I built this site to be more personal then other CG Sites on perpose because I feel that is the best way to really help promote ourselves as artist not only to each other but to potential employers that might stumble onto this site and discover something that they really like. I am always adding new ways to help interact with each other and display our work and creations. And Welcome any assistance or ideas to improve. This website is a constant work in progress for that reason.
Ok now you have created a nice scene with your spheres dividing that look like normal cells. However not all cells are spheres. Some have very complex shapes and now you want to create a scene depicting these complex cell divisions. However you cant really subdivide blobmesh to the shape you want so what do you do?

Since max incorporated a physics engine into the application it has been possible to realistically simulate collisions both elastically and inelastically without having to edit the key frames manually. I am going to show you a basic reactor setup to help you get started. After that its just a matter of experimenting with the parameters to get different effects and more what you would like to achieve.
