Now, on the option bar type the value of the polygon sides. This is the basic of drawing or adding glitters to your image / text or any other graphic.

Here's a fast tutorial that you can use to make a glitter effect on any image. There are plenty of different ways to do this, and each will yield different results. This one's pretty simple so it's a good one if you're just starting. Off we go...

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various glitter and sparkles designs. These are all high resolution, with the average size being about 1500 pixels.

Create a new canvas and write your text on it. While you're following the tutorial, go for a thick, fat font because it will make it easier to see how the effect works. The glitter effect will work just as well on a thinner, stylish font - but it makes it harder to see how the end result happens. I'm using the free font "Should've Known".

1. Create a new document and place some black text on a white background. It's important that the text and white background are merged into 1 layer, to this by pressing 'CTRL & E'.

The area should now be black. This is your blank channel.
