Today I'd like to teach you how to make a quick and easy watermark in Adobe Photoshop. It's nice to have a watermark on your photos and personal designs to say hey, I created this and pretty much no stealing is allowed! I use this all the time for my design that are up on my gallery.

Anyone with a strong background with advance image editors like Photoshop can remove watermarks. If they can duplicate your watermark, they can remove the watermark from your photo. We won't show you how to remove the watermarks, but we'll show you how safe different types of watermarks are and then we'll show you how to prevent advance watermark removals. For someone to remove the watermark techniques shown next requires that the user be able to accurately duplicate the watermark.
For create action to place this watermark and apply to all images by photoshop batch command, all the images need to be in same dimension (pixel width and height) to fully automate and in order to put watermark in right position. Or you can create stop in action to move water mark manually to desired position. You can see step-by-step to insert stop at Using Photoshop Action
Put in the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock spikes next.
Problem is, that this kind of showing the watermark only works in Internet Explorer. Allthough I don't really like that fact, I still like this way of watermarking and that's why I'm sharing this information with you.
My latest version of Photoshop 7 so I'd say this effect can be applied in later versions as well.
