1. Begin with a new file, 300x225 and with a white background. Then create a new layer in the layers palette. Now take the Polygonal Lasso Tool and create a shape similar to the one below, fill the shape with any color.

Create a new layer and select the Rectangular Marquee Tool Now hold SHIFT down and select a perfect square When thats complete, Select -> Modify -> Smooth - For 20 pixels Now fill in the square with any color you like, I chose "#909090". 3. Create a new layer and now select the Eliptical Marquee Tool ( Right click on the Rectangular Marquee Tool and Select it from there ) and hold SHIFT to make a perfect circle, I don't know how to explain this part but, try making a circle not too big and not too small - Something like this 4. In the picture above, the circle is placed on the top left and bottom right of the square logo, try to do the same thing in your picture. Now choose two colors, a foreground and a background color - I chose "#727272" & "#E4E4E4" Now choose the gradient tool and use these settings Now from the top of the picture, click and drag to the bottom of the picture - So now you have something that looks like this depending on your color. 5. CTRL + CLICK on " Layer 1 " so it selects the layer and then click on " Layer 2 " and goto Select -> Inverse and hit the DELETE key. 6. Now choose two different colors, I chose "#BFBFBF" and "#373737" - CTRL + CLICK on " Layer 1 " and select your gradient tool, with the same settings and from the top to bottom, or left to right use your gradient tool and you should have something like this 7. Now merge the two layers together - Right click on the layer and goto Blending Options and use these settings 8. Now you should have something like this. 9. I rotated it a bit, transformed it, added a shadow and gradient and this is what I got

Create a new document (mine is 1600�560 px) and write �The Chronicles of Narnia�. �The Chronicles of� and �Narnia� must be on two separate layers. Set letters tracking to 100 for �Narnia� and to 50 for �The chronicles of�. I use Narnia font from Dafont.com.

You can also access this screen by selecting "Preset Manager" from the Edit menu. 7. Scroll down until you find your brush, and then click it to select it. Select the "Save Set" button to save your selected brushes to a set of their own. This will allow you to save your brush in its own .ABR file. It won't appear until the next time you load Photoshop, but now you can add brushes to that set as you please. Select the set from the brush palette and define new brushes like you already have to add other brushes to the set, but always remember to return to the preset manager to save the set, or otherwise your changes will be lost. 9. You can also mix and match brushes from many different sets in the preset manager to make any collection or combination you like. So let's get started wasting any further time. As usual fire up your Adobe Photoshop. Create a new canvas of size 308X261, keep the background color as White.
Open a new document, take any size and Resolution 72 and Mode RGB Color.

There are plenty of ways for recreating a logo, one is using vector magic as what I have written on my previews article about recreating raster into vector (but that wont work if the original copy really are in bad condition), second would be tracing it using vector base software such as illustrator and the third one would be recreating the logo using high resolution raster base software.
1. Make a light blue circle with eclipse tool (hold SHIFT button to make a circle).
[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels, 400 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.
