edit Steps

  1. 1
Be nice. All great people are nice people. Sometimes it can be hard to be nice to everyone, especially if they aren’t nice to you, but people will respect you for it and it will make you feel better about yourself. Give sincere compliments. Telling someone they look nice or that you like their shoes can be a good start. Once you start giving compliments, people will begin to think of you as a very nice person and may compliment you in return.
  2. 2
Help out. Helping people is an excellent way to be recognized as a great person. If someone needs a hand, you should be there to offer your support. If they drop something, pick it up for them. If they have a heavy load, help them carry it. If they are being bullied, feel free to comfort them. People like this deserve great respect.
  3. 3
Be memorable. Some people are considered great because they did something memorable in society that made the world a better place. You could do this too; just take it one good deed at a time. Random acts of kindness, such as buying a friend a gift for no reason or talking to someone who is lonely will contribute into making you a great person.
  4. 4
Smile. Yes, that’s right, something as simple as a smile can contribute to making you a great person. Smiles are contagious and they are proven to brighten people’s day. Wear a sincere smile as if it is a part of you. Your smile can brighten the darkest days, and you never know who may be falling for that smile of yours!
