It's very common to meet new people when you find a job. Sometimes these people can be very mean, some can be very friendly and funny, and others can be someone you think you might want to date. There are many ways that you can approach this, but this is probably the best one.
edit Steps
- 1Don't come on too strong if you are a stranger or if you hardly know them.
- 2Make small talk, bring up normal things to talk about. For example, school, movies or music.
- 3Get to know them and remember what they tell you.
- 4Show interest in what they have interests in.
- 5Make jokes; laughter is a great way to break the ice.
- 6Ask around work to find out if they have a partner. (Asking them directly is all right too, but if you don't know them, it might be coming on too strong). Although if they already have a partner, then it all ends here. If they don't move on to the next step.
- 7Ask them for their number. If they give it to you, then that's a good sign.
- 8Once you get to know them, ask them if they would like to hang out (on days off or before/after work).
- 9If you have a good time with them and they're available, just ask them to take it a step further.
- 10Always ask how their day is going.

edit Tips
- Try to hang out with them in ways that friends might hang out.
- Don't try to get too serious too fast or push their limits.
- Try to avoid the topic of work.
- Keep your car, breath, and body clean.
- Be interested in what they say, not just how they look, and compliment them often.
- Dress nicely but not too formal.
- Don't use too much cologne or perfume.
edit Warnings
- You may get mocked or annoyed by other co-workers.
- Your employers might be against co-workers dating, so be aware of such rules at your job place.
- If you break up, you will still have to see them at work everyday so be aware of this. Do not be rude to them. Act as your normally would.
