Some words

Are you someone who starts a word search and then gets frustrated or bored and quits? Here is a way to finish it.

edit Steps

  1. 1
Find a word search. It can be a whole book or just one on a sheet of paper. I have a book in order from easiest to hardest, so if you have something like that you choose which one you want to do.
  2. 2
Get something to write with. I prefer a sharpened pencil in case you mess up. You could also use an erasable pen. Get the pencils sharpened and make sure your erasable pens have erasers.
  3. 3
Now, look at the first word on the list. Start on the first letter on the first row. You could start on a column if you want to. Go across (or down if you are doing columns) the rows until you find the first letter of the word. Look around it and see if the second letter os there, and so on. If it's not, keep going.
  4. 4
If you find another word, check the list for it and cross it out and circle it. It will get you confused if you check it and don`t circle it. Keep going down the list and concentrate on a word each time. If you miss it in the word search, go the opposite and check again. Ex: If you did rows and missed it, try columns and vice versa.
  5. 5
Do this to every word on the list. Some word searches are long, some short. It all depends on how fast you are, how good you are at it, how many words it has, and how long the words are. Try this method on a word search and see if it works for you.

edit Tips

  • If you don't finish, keep your page with a bookmark or something and look back at it later, and look over the words and where you were.
