Now copy your football image and paste it onto a new layer above your text layer. Resize it, and copy it several more times to cover up your text. Then merge your small ball layers. Hide this merged layer, and then using the magic wand tool selection around your text and the gaps within the letters. Go back to your small footballs layer and hit delete, leaving you with some cool text, patterned with footballs.
1. create a new document, make sure it's big enough to work on and hit "d" to reset your colors. select the custom shape tool from the tool bar and then select the hexagon shape from the custom shape picker. draw a hexagon in the center of your document (press shift while drawing)
