5) We are all done in Photoshop, so let's jump to Imageready. Click this button at the bottom of the Tools Palette or press Ctrl+Shift+M. 6) With Imageready opened, you should see the Layers Palette and Animation Palette (If not, go to Window and activate each). In the layers Palette, you should see all of the text layer copies and the original text layer. Well, now click the eye beside each text copy layer, leaving the original text as the only text visible. 7) With only original text visible, go to the Animation Palette and click the arrow and select New Frame.

Alright, you got your button, so add some text in there and you will be finished with the basics. Now comes the hard part. Well not really, but alright lets get started. Jump to image ready. If you dont know how to do it then ill tell you. Go to File->Jump To->ImageReady or file-> Edit with image Ready. First thing we need to do is get the animation box open if it already isnt there. Once it is open you will need to click the arrow at the top right side of the window. You will see a Checkmark next to New Layers are visible next to frames and blah, blah, blah. Above it there will be something that says create a new layer for each frame check that.

In this Tutorial, I will show you the basic dynamic's of creating a simple 3 state Rollover Button. You will be learning some advanced techniques also, to help you get up and running in ImageReady quicker! We will be working completely inside ImageReady 3.0 so go ahead and open the program.

2. Design your button. Make sure you keep the thing / things that you want to move on a separate layer.

First off, you have to think of what kind of button you want to animate and what you want to be animated. For example here I'm going to show you how to make a quite simple animation (Figure below).

Now out basic button base is ready, it is now time to add a text. Let us add something like Homepage. You can use anything for that matter. I will use Homepage use any font of your choice. Create a new layer and now ctrl+click on the rounded rectangle layer. This will make the selection now fill it with black color so this will cover the complete button with black color. Now select only the starting part because we will animated with varying colours there. I guess you would have seen lots of similar buttons at myspace.

[27]-Now fill the selection with '363636?color & then go to Blending Options, select Drop Shadow & use the following settings Photoshop Technique-How to use the Drop Shadow feature

[19]-Now select Text Tool?????????????????? & create the any Text See below for Final Photoshop Output.I hope this is a good tutorial & you can use these Photoshop Techniques in your Graphics Design Project

Step 1: Create a new document of size 200X56 pix. Keep the background color as white (#FFFFFF). Select the rounded rectange and draw a new rectangle like this.
