Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard. Here we'll create a custom glossy look to our text. Get out the Lasso Tool ( ) and make a selection similar to what I've done here across the top of each of the letters in your logo. Try to avoid making straight lines, make nice smooth curves as I've done:

And there we have it a basic method of getting a gloss effect without any mess! Of course you don't have to use the rectangular marquee tool you could of used the elliptical marquee tool to get a different effect shown below:

Step 2: Using Horizontal Type Tool and type your text. I use font 'Cancun', size 120 pt, font color #2d40fd.
