The author of this example is R??gine Lemasle. She created this nice New Year card using AKVIS LightShop and AKVIS Frame Suite.

Hello hello, now we are going to explain how to create a Gold Credit Card using only vector images and simple text.

Where lighting conditions are completely controllable, such in a studio, a grey card is still an essential gadget. Exposure and colour balance need to be consistent in every image. Relying on the camera's automatic reading of the conditions means that when the subject is changed, the readings will change. With a grey card, the digital photographer can take a specific reading from a single target point and the resulting settings for the white balance will be good for all the images in that lighting, even when the subject matter is changed.

With Valentine's Day rapidly approaching, we thought we would share with you a simple way to create an e-card that you can send your sweetie. I'm sure she/he would prefer you took the time to draw something for him/her, than using an e-card service, so let's score some points :) Start by creating a new file. Create a heart shape from custom shape tool.

Start by selecting pen tool (P) and draw a rough shape of christmas tree in a new file. Dont bother too much about getting it right. just draw a rough sketch. we'll adjust it in next few steps.

First thing to do is make the background pattern for the birthday card. First open a new document in Photoshop, I used 4020 pixels. Now fill the background with #345877. First create a new layer, then get the Rectangular Marquee Tool and set the selection style to Fixed Size with 20 pixels as the width, set anything as the height. Make the selection in the far left of your document, then fill it with white (#FFFFFF) Now make the selection in the far right and fill it with black (#000000) Set the layer mode for that layer to Soft Light and lower the opacity to around 50%. Merge the Background and main layer together, then apply Filter > Noise > Add Noise with the following settings: This is my final result for the background pattern: To make your image into a pattern, select your document (CTRL+A) and go into the edit menu, click define pattern and give it a name.

In this tutorial we'll show you how to draw up your own festive Christmas holiday card in Photoshop. The card includes a nice background, snowman, snow-covered trees and snowy landscape, and some beautiful snowflakes.

Are you missing old times? I have one pleasure thing for you??? vintage greeting card. So, this Photoshop tutorial about how to create it.

This is without a doubt the easiest PS tutorial I have seen, Great work on making a print ready business card using only photoshop

In this tutorial, we are going to design up a simple business card in Photoshop and get it ready for print with crop marks and bleed. Normally you'd do some of this with a tool like InDesign, but it is in fact possible to get by with just our trusty old Photoshop - Collis

Following the normative ISO 7810 ID-1 we size our card to this dimensions: 85.60 ?? 53.98 (in mm) So our document has this size. Create a new layer and fill it in black. Edit->fill

With valentines round the corner, why not make your very own Valentines card for a loved one with not just love and sincerity but some of that creativity you have built up inside you too!

Design a Print Ready Business Card for Designers For starters please change the title What a PARADOX!!!! Another tutorial for uneducated technologicaly impaired designers. Those things always seem to amaze me. How could a designer that gives a crap, print out a template for his bussiness card? Isn't the point of designer to design himsell? Today it seams to be some new stream of designers i guess. Those who are too lazy to explore or to educate themself in the field.

Now add the name of your company/business onto the card. Make sure you center the text and that it's of a good size.

Drag in a dj image (from the ClubCast.tv portfolio available with the Discover Photoshop: Total Package) and do the stretch pixel effect.

5. Now find a nice composition, cut and put it on top of the credit card shape, I found a nice globe:

2. Create a new layer. Name it Pattern. Then fill the new layer with dot pattern. If you don't have this pattern, download this here. Set its Opacity to 20-30%

Select the type tool and the font "garamond" and type your bank name and the word credit card in the top left corner. (I've also add the banks logo just by drawing out a few triangles).

Select and merge all the flower layers. Duplicate layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown.

Here is where the fun part comes in. We now will begin to design the actual heart so go to your Custom Shapes and select the heart brush. I have attached a quick snapshot of which brush specifically to select.

Hello hello, now we are going to explain how to create a Gold Credit Card using only vector images and simple text.

6. Select all the layers and go to (edit - free transform) and rotate it! That's it, you can see the outcome in the picture below this sixth step. You've created a clean business card! You can also use this as an ad or place a logo on top of it and display it on some official papers.

Now, merge two of these layers in one using Ctrl+E. After that I think we should start with creating business card. It is good idea to create business card for design studio with some interesting name, for example "Vigilance Dragon." Ok, let's start to do it! Create a new layer, after that select the Rectangular Marquee Tool, make the selection as on picture below in the middle of the canvas and fill selected area with color of #e2edf2:

Learn to draw xp style account information card with this tutorial. Final output of the tutorial can be seen below :

Now is the main step. Prepare to create a vintage greeting card. First of all find some old style paper and photo. Go to Google search again and find some proper pictures or feel free to use this old style paper and vintage photo. So, at first bring the old style paper to the canvas and crop it till sizes shown below:

Now you are ready to begin designing your business card. It's up to you to decide what you want the card to look like. Start experimenting and using the different tools to get the look you want. With unlimited amounts of colors and tools to choose from, anything is possible.

To finish off the business card, add personal info like Name, Position, Phone Number, Fax Number, and Website under the line we have just made. Your final result you should look like this:

Create a new file for the back of the post card. Type the promotional content on left side of the file.

Adobe tricks and techniques lesson - Photoshop 7 Training Courses Tutorials - Create a tree root design using brush in photoshop

Lets design something for digital Scrapbook users of photoshop. Same technique can be used for design invitation notes , Invitation Cards, a digital scrapbook templates etc etc. The basic techniques remains the same.

In this tutorial you will learn to create a Mother's Day Greeting e-Card. (click on the image below, to see animation)

CTRL + Click on the layer we just made. This will make a selection of our card. Go to select > modify > expand and chose 1px. Create a new layer and fill it with black. Change the layer order so you will have a nice border. Marge the two layer together so you will have a nice border of the gaming card layer.

It has been a long while since I have done a tutorial on this website, most of the time I post them on Great Designs. But for a change I am going to post it here. There is a lot of thought going into business cards, and some companies spend a lot of money designing and producing business cards.

A business card is an extension of your self. It is a little piece of you that you give out. In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create a stunning business card to remind people of who you are. This tutorial will involve Photoshop although it can be done on any application. Click on any of the images for the full size version. Step 1) The first step is to set up the business card size. The average size for a business card is 3.5 inches x 2 inches (length x height). You can use any size you want. Suitably name and save the file. Step 2) The first step is to create the front of the card. Use a suitable pastel colour. I've chose blue as that is my favourite. The next step is to add some text. Again going with the modern theme i've chosen Trebuchet MS, any suitable substitution will do. Step 3) For most fonts, the normal spacing doesn't look quite right. Using the character pallet tool in Photoshop squeeze the characters together. A good compact finish is what is being aimed for. Step 4) Most business cards have more than just a name. I've added my website, although you can add anything you want. Phone numbers, address be creative. The colour I have used is a grey that blends into the background, you want it so you can read as see the text but isn't the most striking feature present. Step 5) With the lines guides shown (the light blue lines) you can see that the text characters are not fully lined up. Again using the character tool move the character spacing to a suitable size. By having the characters lined up the name looks more eye catching, and well designed. You may have to split up your names into separate layers to be able to align the names correctly. Step 6) The next step is to add some sort of logo or widget to the front of the business card. This serves as a graphical representation of you. This could be your personal logo or a shape. I've picked by creating some circles with different colours inside them. Using the shape tool, these were drawn onto the page. Different layers were used for different colours. As you can see the final piece of the card looks interesting as well as modern. The next step is to move onto the back. Step 7) The back of the card needs to have as much white space as possible, as most people will write notes on the back, filling this up with colour and images doesn't help. The back of the card needs to be as simple as possible. Again I have used the font from the front and suitably spaced it as required. The simple shapes that were created are used again, but smaller. If you click the images you can see the full versions. As you can hopefully see the business card does look stunning as is very effective. Overall this would have taken me about 10 minutes to create. If you want more ideas for business cards you can see this post here.

Here's a little tutorial that will help you to create your own business card. But remember one thing: it's all about your imagination.

[25] Thanks for reading, I hope this photoshop tutorial has taught you few photoshop tricks and techniques and you can use them in your website design project. Your final image will look like this.

[17] See below for final photoshop output image. I hope this is a good tutorial and you can use these photoshop tips in your graphics design project.

4. Create another new layer and use some nice brushes to create a few flowers and lines, shapes, anything you like in the middle of your design! The colors I used are #f1f29a (yellow), #ffffff (white) and #7f2a2d (dark red). I used 5 sets of brushes (set 1, set2, set3, set4, set5) The fourth step is totally up to you! You can just randomly ad some brushes like I did or do something else Anyway, this is what I ended up with!

It´s a simple tutorial. Professional one´s isn´t. There are a lot effects needed inside the card, the text. This tutorial should named basic

In this tutorial you will learn to create a Mother's Day Greeting e-Card. So, let's start with creating a new document, with 500px by 400px with any background color. Unlock our background layer by double clicking on a layer icon, and pressing ok. And apply to it these settings:

Using one of Photoshop Elements' built-in projects, make a single-fold greeting card. By default, the Greeting Card project makes a postcard, but we will modify the project to make a folded card that is blank inside.

9. Now we have to work on the title of the Greeting Card. Write "Happy Easter to you all!" or any message that you'd like with arial black or another clean font and then rasterize the layer. For that you have to make a right click on the layer and choose Rasterize. After doing so hold ctrl and click on the layer and go to Select - Modify - Expand and expand it with 2 or three pixels. Then make a new layer and put it under the red one and brush it with white. It will look like this:

This guide may be useful to realize credit cards, electronic cards for all uses that you have in mind. The credit card that we'll create will be designed in real size. Once completed that. you'll have a great designed stuff to start your web application or for publish it everywhere. Our final product

Business Cards are great resources to have on hand, or to be able to make as a graphic designer. In this tutorial you will make several business cards. Blank business cards can be purchased from a stationary store. They usually come in sheets of 10, each being 3.5 inches by 2 inches. Many of the blanks have templates available for your word processing program on their web site for you to download and use to arrange your images on and print. Images we make will be of a high enough resolution that they will make beautiful cards.

Very nice, but I have Photoshop 6.0, and the custom shapes are rather boring (dogs paw is for ex not included. Are there additional shapes you can download from somewhere? /Anna

In this tutorial we will apply some nifty web 2.0 styling to create an effective business card. If you haven't done so yet, consider brushing up on what exactly web 2.0 is by visiting out Web 2.0 Checklist.

Alright folks, first tutorial here. We're going to create a simple Valentine's Day e-card for your special someone - as a plan B, just in case you forget that present. In the process, you will learn how to create a brush of your own and edit some of its more advanced settings.

Again select Brush Tool (B) and fill the text with snowflakes. Play with Master Diameter. I set it from 16px to 50px depending of the snowflake.

I did create a business card with photoshop cs3 but i don't know how to print it on one sheet of 10 business card. Can somebody help me out please.

Ok, on to the first playing card. SHIFT+U to cycle through the tools until you come to the Rounded Rectangle Tool. Some options appear at the top of the screen. Radius is how rounded the rectangle will be. Always change this BEFORE you create the rectangle. I've chosen 18 pixels here, which gives a nice card shape. I have also chosen to create a path (see red circled at the top of image 6). In my opinion this is the easiest way of doing it. Drag your rectangle diagonally from top left to bottom right:

Using the Custom Shape Tool (U), try to make the next indicator of the playing card, selecting it out of the next shown table:

Create a new document the size you want your sim cards to be, select the rounded rectangle tool and draw out your rectangle, fill with your choice of color.

12. Repeat steps 2 for 11 more times to have playing cards like shown in the figure. Play with your friends; you will never lose this game. :-))

If you're going to be a professional in any of the creative/artistic fields, you have to understand color. We've been dealing a bit with Color Theory on our site, but now we're going to dive into something equally important - Color Psychology.

The SD Memory card has proven a very popular in recent years, perhaps due to their small size and acceptable capacity. SD Cards hold between 32Mb and 2Gb! However, the price difference is certainly noticeable. There is a 3Gb SD Card in development, but it's unlikely to be in the high-street until next year. The XD Memory Card is slightly newer than the SD Card, however, for all intents and purposes they are very similar in design and function. Many Digital Cameras from the Fuji and Olympus brand manufacturers favour this type of card, although the price can sometimes be a little higher. You will only find the XD memory cards with a 1Gb capacity, but to be honest unless you're a professional Photographer taking hundreds of shots per session, you won't need anything bigger, you simply wouldn't fill it up! A Compact Flash card is an alternative method to store your images. At around an inch in size, CF Cards are used more and more. Because they are sold in a solid form, meaning no moving parts, they are robust and reliable. CF cards also come in substantially greater capacities than the previous two types and are available even up to 8Gb!! Some manufacturers produce not only differing capacities but also differing speed cards. This allows for images to be recorded quicker which allows the photographer a faster follow on shot. If your serious about digital photography, or need storage in a professional sense, a CF card is your best option. SmartMedia cards have been in the Digital Photography market for a long time, they are reliable, reasonably priced and come as standard. However, of late, SmartMedia is quickly becoming sidelined for newer more advanced options of image storage such as the Compact Flash cards discussed above. You may find that your Digital Camera isnt compatible with SmartMedia Cards anyhow. Always check your manual for compatibility before parting with your cash! Last but not least we have the Memory Stick. Originally used primarily in Sony cameras, you may recognise Memory sticks from other devices such as your mobile phone or personal computers. Again, Memory Sticks are available in several capacities and are also available from different manufacturers. As far as Digital Photographers are concerned, Memory sticks are legitimate options for storing images, however they are slightly more prone to becoming damaged due to Memory sticks being physically more frail than its Compact Flash counterpart for example which has a more solid and harden...

Digital camera memory and batteries are often called digital camera accessories but both are quite necessary to use your digital camera. You should be careful not to overlook the memory or battery when buying a digital camera and both should be included in your budget. Here are some basic things to consider about memory and batteries when buying a digital camera. Memory Digital camera memory is an essential and often a very neglected and overlooked section of equipment for digital photography and camera. When buying a digital camera make sure to budget for an additional memory card because most digital cameras come with a very low capacity memory card or internal memory, only capable of holding a few pictures. How much memory you need directly depends on how many megapixels your digital camera is and the type of pictures you take. There is no fixed number of photos you can put on a memory card because of factors like megapixel, image file types and compression all affect the size of each file. Check out manufacturer's websites to get an idea of how many images you can save on their memory card. I recommend at least a 256 megabyte card if you're using a 3-5 megapixel compact digital camera and a 512 megabyte card for higher megapixel digital cameras but, those are minimums, buy as much memory as you can afford, no one ever wished for less memory! Besides the actual capacity of the memory card you also need to consider the speed of the memory card. Several manufacturers are producing high speed memory cards that lessen the time it takes to save the image to the memory, allowing you to take photos without a pause in between snaps. This high priced upgrade is worth the money to photographers who take action shots in continuous mode, like at a sports event, for instance. Batteries Perhaps the most tedious thing about digital cameras is the quest for their battery consumption and thereby finding a suitable battery for any particular camera. Similarly for any digital camera too, a good battery is necessary in order to ensure an excellent performance from it as long as possible. When you have made yourself a short list of digital cameras meeting your quality requirements, be sure to compare battery capacity. Some digital cameras can consume power at an alarming rate, and you will want to be certain your camera lasts through important events. Having to frequently stop and change or recharge the batteries will definitely put a damper on a photo outing. Buying a came...

With your foreground colour set to white, use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to select a circular area. Hold down Shift while selecting, to keep your selection perfectly circular. Then press Alt+Backspace to fill the area with your foreground colour (white). Repeat this process until your business card background has a fair number of white circles on it, including a large one (not touching any others), for your photo to go in.

[1]- First of all open a new document . Here I have used document size-400x400 pixel .[RGB ] resolution:96

In this tutorial we will apply some nifty web 2.0 styling to create an effective business card. If you haven't done so yet, consider brushing up on what exactly web 2.0 is by visiting out Web 2.0 Checklist.

2. Fill the background with white #ffffff.

Mail (will not be published) (required)

Note: This process will be different for each image, cutting out, resizing and most of the graphic will be the same. The steps in red will change depending on the image.

First, create a new document 600 by 500 pixels. Fill (Edit > Fill) the background with the color #eeeeee.

My business cards are going to be 5585mm, with a few mm's bleed that'll make my total document size 5888mm. Make sure you're document colour settings are set to CMYK ready for print, and that the resolution is set to at least 300dpi (pixels or dots per inch).

After this, Select the Type Tool and insert the desired text... whatever you want to write.

This is my result, you should see something roughly like this depending on your font and how long your name is. Adjust it accordingly.

I guess it all comes down to how much information you need to include and the overall size and proportion of your company's logo. But as you can see from the designs above there's still a lot you can do, even with a limited space.
