4. Switch to ImageReady, by simply clicking on the button at the bottom of the tools palette. ImageReady will launch with your layers intact.

This tutorial will teach you how to create button rollovers in ImageReady. The PSD file I used for this tutorial as well as the final exported files can be downloaded here.

As you probably realize ImageReady only allows for a single active animation. However, there is a method to utilize multiple animations within a single document through the use of Remote Rollovers.

Now that all slices are intact, complete with a trigger and target remote slice for the corresponding menu items, select the 'Preview Document (Y)' button on your Toolbar, to render a live preview within ImageReady.

9. Next, I'll add a 'Drop Shadow ' affect to the caption 'Text' of that button using the same routine. (Still on the Over State of 'rollovers_03') Select that text layer that corresponds to the first background layer we just altered. In this case layer labeled '1'. As before right-click and choose 'Layer Styles' and from the list choose 'Drop Shadow'. (Below is the capture for the 'Drop Shadow' panel. The default 'Distance' and 'Size' is 5, so I changed them to 2.
