First thing to do is make a pattern using; define pattern. using the rectangle marquee select the barcode area you will make a pattern with.then go edit; click define pattern. this feature can be used for many purposes.

See how to create Barcode in Photoshop. Step 1 Start with a new file and choose white as background. Press Ctrl + Shift + N to create a new layer and fill it with white #FFFFFF. Step 2 Press D to reset a colors. Goto Filter- Noise - Add noise and apply the settings that are shown on the picture below. Step 3 Goto Filter- Blur - Motion blur and apply the settings that are shown on the picture below. Step 4 Goto Edit - Transform - Rotate 90� CW Step 5 Press Ctrl + L (Levels) and apply the settings that are shown on the picture below. Step 6 Take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw out a rectangle and press delete. Then type in some numbers.

Make a quick and easy Photoshop barcode using a couple of filters. Can be used to generate multiple bar codes if you need variation.

6. Using the rectangular marguee tool, create a selection in the center of the bottom of the barcode and select delete in order to remove a part of the barcode to place numbers in.

Now just crop out whatever area you want to use for the barcode. I used the rectangular marquee tool, copy-pasted my barcode on a new layer, and added some text underneath (Courier New, bold, 14pt). and...done

9.press "CTRL+L" for levels.
