Now select the bottom text layer and we will be doing the same thing, just with a bit bigger brush and a larger intensity, so smudge it like I did below.

2. Fill the background with #000000 black using the paint bucket tool.

Now, click your Brush Tool. Try to use a small diameter for your brush, I used a brush master diameter of 5px, like this:

This can be a pretty neat effect when used correctly. It comes out kinda reminding me of a Blair Witch type style logo.
