Learn how to create the newest iPod... the NANO. This version is the most thin of them all. I find it a bit weird, but ow well ;P

40. And that's it, your New iPod Classic and actually you can make an iPod nano using the same process but others sizes, if you have any questions let me know below in the comments.

This tutorial is created in Photoshop CS2. Start off by creating a new file named "iPod Touch" or something relevant. Make the width 400px and the height 600px.

In this Photoshop tutorial you will learn how to re-create an Apple iPod Shuffle by using the original image from apple's website as a reference and using the gradient tool, layer masks and basic selection and guide techniques. We will also cover a few keyboard-shortcuts that will make your photoshop experience easier.

Take the opacity down to around 1% - 2% opacity and set the blending mode to multiply. You'll then want to add a mask to this layer. With the gradient tool, you'll want to drag a gradient from the top left to bottom right of the iPod Shuffle so that the mask allows to layer to show through the top left of the iPod. Generally, you'll want the noise layer to show through where the object shines, and mask out where there is shadow. Small touches like this can do a lot for imitating the look of a metallic surface.

9. Now delete the first Ipod image and only leave the vector shapes. Then color the Ipod as you wish now you are finished.

3. Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a circle like below (Make it the same color) and place it on your iPod then select the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a little circle and press delete.

iMeye are trying to be modern so let's start with a iPod-tutorial. Pink is a great colour so why not make a Pink one?

Here is what we do. Duplicate the ipod layer (the black rounded rectangle one); Remove all effects from the Blending Options. Change the color to white. Get the Direct Selection Tool and select the left bottom dots and press delete. After that select the most left dot from the top and also delete it. You should now have something like this:

This Tutorial shows you how to create the side view of an ipod which is on the box art of ipods and is used to show how thin apples sleek ipod is.

and as promised at the beginning of this tutorial, you can change the background color to one of those funky apple colors from the ads:

Step 2: Use the Elliptical Marquee tool, and make the oval I have. From here, fill it in with the foreground colour. Then use the RMT as I have done, to both sides. We've now added some shape to our ipod.

3. Next work will begin on the screen display items. In order to make this iPod as realistic as possible, you will need to download Chicago, the font used on the real iPod interface. If you are using an Apple computer, use should already have this font. Unzip the file and place its contents in the Fonts folder. To get to this, go to My Computer and select your hard drive. Then select the WINDOWS folder and then the fonts folder. In this new window, go to File > Install New Font. Find the files and import them. In order for Photoshop to recognize the new fonts, you will have to restart Photoshop. Save any documents that you have open, then close and restart Photoshop. If the Chicago font is still not recognized by Photoshop, you will have to restart your computer.

I thought this tut was OUTSTANDING! Well paced, well spoken and done perfectly. I have followed it exactly as you illustrated and I must say that the one I made is much better looking than the one on Apple's site. I also did the ipod classic complete with album art. This is a quality tut. Thanks so very much.

Draw an iPod Shuffle - tutorialdog.com This Photoshop tutorial will acquaint you with the shape tools, dealing with paths, applying layer styles and dealing with shadows and lighting.

The iPod is one of the best selling portable music players of all time, and those sales numbers are only going to increase with the new iPod Nano, which brings video down to the Nano product lineup. In this brief tutorial, I will show you how you can easily make your own iPod Nano in Photoshop for use on your website, blog, etc.

So we've all seen those Apple iPod commercials on TV. Crazy silhouetted people dancing around with white iPod's attached their ears with white strings. It's a pretty easy photoshop effect, so I'll show you how to create your own crazy ad.

[...] particular, we'd like to single out #33, Design The iTunes Icon For The iPhone And iPod Touch as being remarkably apropos in case you happen to want something evocative of Apple style, [...]

Really nice! I'd like to make it the drive icon for my iPod (via autorun.inf); could you make a black version or release the source?

"Be amazed and learn as master digital artist Bert Monroy takes a stylus and a digital pad and treats it as Monet and Picasso do with oil and canvas. Learn the tips and tricks you need to whip those digital pictures into shape with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator."

Let's start off with our person photo. I found this one at www.photospin.com. We're going to want to start by masking the image. Masking is when you basically hide a portion of the image, leaving what you want to see, visible. It's a lot easier than deleting the unwanted area. Start by making your selection around the object.

Just to clear a few things up first, when I say something about layer styles, I mean to select the layer and press this button at the bottom (highlighted red)
