Designing The girl with a cat in Photoshop A beatiful and very artistic illustration tutorial. Create a file with a resolution of 600x800 and 100dpi. Paint the background using the color code (bdbfb4). Choose the instrument and create our girl?s silhouette. The color code is 9a5131. Make a new copy of the silhouette with 9c9990 color code and insert it under the copied background. Move it a little to the left, like in the picture. Now make the hair. Draw the way it is indicated in the picture, using the instrument . The background should be under everything. The holding the Alt button, make a mouse click on this background. As a result the background will become a mask. We?ll get the next. Take the instrument again and make outlines of the eyebrows, eyes and lips. Choose the instrument and draw the eyes on the new background. To create the shadows choose instrument After finishing them, click twice on these backgrounds and choose from menu everything like in the picture, except the gradient?s direction. The color code (8f4a2e) is for the lighter color and 743621 is for the dark color. On a new background, using the instrument , make the fringe. Under the fringe?s background, draw the shadow with dark color. It must have the same shape as in the picture. Using the instrument wipe up the shadow?s bottom and set out the background as in the picture. The shadow will be transparent. Pass to the cat?s tail creation, which is situated on the girl?s back. Use the instrument and make a tail like in the picture. Make a mouse click on the background and set out the parameters like it is shown. Don?t forget about the gradient?s direction. The gradient must be painted in white and black. Pass to the cat?s drawing on the girl?s shoulder. 1. Make the cat?s outline and the gradient on ears. Color codes (000000) for the dark one and acada 5. 2. The outline will help us to draw the ears. The color code is acada5. 3. Make also the nose and the mouth using the instrument and make the gradient as I have shown to you it earlier. 4. Draw the eyes using this instrument . First white, then blue. Using the brush paint a little white. Finally draw the pupil of the eye. 1. Now make the pads and put on them gradient as I have explained to you earlier. 2. The same way make the cat?s shadow. The color codes are 632e1b for the dark color and 7e4027 for the light color. 3. Using the Line Tool instrument make the claws. Our picture is almost done. Fix the last feature. Using the instrument , draw the highlight on the lips of white color. The final result.
Select and merge all the tattoo layers. Create several duplicates of the resulting layer. In one of the duplicate erase all the pattern except a little beginning.

Duplicate the girl's layer and hide one. Select the visible layer and go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation. Reduce the Saturation to -100. You will have a grayscale photo.
Choose a render, if you're using a really girl render, then use a render that will NOT be your final stock. I used Paris Hilton. Now select your smudge tool and make it a butterfly brush. In your brush settings use the following:
11. You can also add a little bit of text (linear dodge, opacity 50%). Now in this last step just make a new layer and go to (image - apply image and sharpen it (filter - sharpen - sharpen). Now we're finished, enjoy your new signature!
Now all is set to start animating. I imagined the animation as a set of following stages: a clear picture appears on the screen; then the signal should start distorting followed by a short clearance, then distortion, with a total disappearing of the image in the end.
Cover the skin with a wood layer (first I used wood 1) You can remove the parts that cover the dress and background now or do it later. In this step I am showing you how it looks after removing the parts you don't need, but as you can see in the next steps, I removed them lateron.
Here I used a photo from iStockphoto. You can use any photo. Just extract the girl from the background and place it in the center. Try to position her right hand in the center of the gradient.
Next we'll try to draw the girl's shadow - reflection. This operation needs copying the girl's layer and choosing Free Transform selection for turning around the copy, placing her reflection under her legs.
Create a new layer, choose magenta color: #EC008C, zoom out the picture, use soft brush to decorate the lady's lip, change blend mode of layer to Softlight, opacity 80%.
Because her eyes are looking up away from where the gun is pointing she loses any form of power or dominance [given that's the style of the image...sort of] she looks surprised yet the concepts look powerful.
