"This is a timelapse preview of my coming tutorial on photorealistic digital painting called "A Portrait of Emily Rose." Painted in Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Graphire 4." - Daniel Hammonds Apply the previous instrument to create the necessary number of figures for representing the rose's petals. Place them out like it is shown next picture. So the top rose layer has a purple inner glow and the layer below it has a yellow inner glow. Get it? Got it? Good! Here is my final effect: Continue to duplicate the new layer, scale and rotate it. When you have done this a couple of times it can be good to change the gradient on the new layers a bit. Just move the right dark red box to the left. Done, print and you have a wonderful rose.
Very careful draw patches of light along the edges of a rose where as you consider, natural light should fall. They while look too sharp, therefore take already familiar Finger - force of 60 %, the size 6 px. Smear it white strips. |
