Let's say you're discussing a screenshot of Photoshop's Layers palette and you want to make sure that your point is clear. Perhaps you're explaining that a layer mask thumbnail should be selected, rather than the thumbnail for the layer itself. One way to do that is with a colored circle. Make a selection around the item, then use the Edit> Stroke command. You can even use the Line shape tool to add an arrow for greater emphasis.
Summary: In this tutorial I am not really drawing any particular shape of logo. Instead I will show you how to use some of the cool techniques in photoshop. I will teach how to use motion blur with a circle to make a cool effect and some other photoshop tricks.
Step 4: Now select the layer of the top part of circle and press Ctrl T and right click > Flip Horizontal ... again Right click > Flip Vertical. It will give you an image something like this.
5. Draw a circle on your new layer by clicking and dragging your cursor and then letting go. Now change the foreground and background colors to any colors of your choice in order to fill/stroke your object.
NOTE: You always want to check your spelling to be sure before you flatten or merge any of the character layers.....For the sake of illustration, let it be known this was almost the "CIRUCLAR TYPE" Tutorial :P
Now we will apply some layer style to the circle of course. I will be using a blue gradient that I found online in a web 2.0 gradient pack. Go to the site and download the gradient pack by clicking here.

There's a design trend that's blown up over the past year and it's based around one simple shape - the circle. Not just one circle, though, lots of them. In fact, it's circles within circles. After looking at these designs at least a 100 times, it hit me that we could do this with a custom brush in Photoshop and create some really cool effects. So here goes:
[10]-Now your image should look like as shown below & after that make Duplicate Layer with the help of Ctrl+J & after that press Ctrl+T,click select 'Rotate 90 cw' & then press ENTER
5. The Logo is almost done. Now get another New Layer and this time with the Rectangular Marquee Tool make a Rectangular in the lower part.Be sure one corner of the rectangular is in the shape but not over the white circle and the fill it up with a colour you like.

4. Now it's time to see your pattern in action. Create a new document (or open an image) and create a new layer (Shift+Ctrl+N). Fill it with your pattern by clicking Edit > Fill. Select your Circle Pattern and hit OK
2. After drawing your crop circle with your "Horizontal Type Tool" , which I used a crop circle dingbat font from http://www.dafont.com, click on Edit > Transform > Skew and fit your circle where you think it looks best like the image below and save the image.
