I would like to thank you for these great tutorials. As a novice photoshop user for my business of transforming pictures, artwork, and logo into woven tapestries. Fully understanding photoshop can help in making publications for marketing purposes that stand out in the mind of my customers. The first impression, is often the lasting impression. If any of you need to transform pictures to afghans, tote bags, wall hangings, and pillows, please stop by us on the web at www.ipictureweave.com or www.conceptseventeen.com.

1. First of all make a new 300x300 images on white background. Then using Type Tool create your type and use black color for your text. I used a Book Atiqua font at 72 pt and set the font style bold.

2. This tutorial has very specific settings, so it's best if you download the same font I used and follow the steps exactly. You can download it here: Viper Squadron. This package has 4 variations of the font. You want to use "Viper Squadron Solid." If you need help installing the font, check out their help/faq section. Now add the text "ST" with the following settings.

Now select the "Chrome" layer thumbnail and press Cmd/Ctrl+E This merges the selected layer with the one directly under it and "renders all effects"

Make a new layer and grab the pen tool and make a selection of one of the letters. Make sure you don't make a selection of the entire letter. You want only the bottom half of the letter. Fill it in with any color. It doesn't have to perfect either.

STEP 7: If you want to add some colour reselect the text, and create a new layer above the text, fill the selection on this layer with a colour of your choice and change the layer properties to COLOR as ringed in red, and maybe take the opacity down a little.

Now with the text tool, type in your text using a "strong font" (I used "Babylon5"), and a white color (can't see your text? No matter, carry on...)

We start with a blank White canvas and then add our text. We'll do our text Black for now, for the sake of clarity:

In this tutorial, it is going to show you how to make awesome colored chrome text effect. Most of the nice text effect are done with a lot of blending mode adjustments. This one is no exception. You just need to follow the tutorial, then you will be able to complete this easily.

This Adobe Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create blue text with a chrome background. For this tutorial I will be using Adobe Photoshop CS2. However, this effect can be achieved with most newer versions of Adobe Photoshop.

Using layer styles you can create an array of text effects quickly and easily. In this tutorial we will be making some metallic chrome text. Start off by using your text tool to write your title in white.

We???ve seen many photoshop tutorials showing how to create the chrome text effect. In this tutorial we will go a step further and create a colored chrome text effect.

In this tutorial we're going to show you how to create an eye popping chrome text effect. This effect jumps off the screen! There's no reason this effect can't be applied to objects other than text.

In this tutorial, we will look at a quick way we can make chrome text. There are many PhotoShop tutorials on the internet showing how to create metallic or chrome-looking text, and this is one of the quickest and easiest ways. We will be using Layer Styles in this tutorial - exact values may output different results on your composition, if you are using different text, fonts, images, dimensions, etc. It is highly recommended that you experiment with the help of this tutorial as a guide.

You can now customize the chrome effect by adjusting either of the adjustment layers, or making changes to the blending modes of the adjustment layers, or adjusting the text style. One example is creating a colored chrome or gold effect by simply double clicking the layer effects icon on the text layer, and then set the color of the inner glow, the color overlay, and the stroke sections to a golden color, or any other color you like. Be sure to check the reflections tutorial if you want to create the reflection as seen in the result of this tutorial.
