Make sure the guided path is touching your text or it will not work. *You can link multiple layers to a motion guide layer to have multiple objects follow the same path. However, this effect can be achieved using two Flash movies. In one movie, a motion tween is created that follows a guide layer. This movie is then exported as an SWF and imported into the second movie. In the second movie, the layer that contains the imported SWF is set to be a mask layer. Finally, the object to be masked is placed in a masked layer under the imported tween.
A motion guide is a line which an object in the guided layer will follow. The guided layer is underneith the motion guide layer, and usually looks like this: 25. Motion Blur
While watching cartoons or certain ads, I always wondered, how do they give this blur effects to depict characters moving fast. I still don't know how they do, but getting the same effect in flash 8 is really simple. 2. Create a new file. In this tutorial, you will learn how to animate a graphic on a guided path using the motion guide. You will also learn how to place your graphic or movieclip on the correct points of the motion guide.
This tutorial was written for the Flash Designer software, which allows you to create flash animations in a much easier way than by using Macromedia Flash. You may get Flash Designer here. In photography, a motion blur is created when the subject moves too fast for the speed of the film to capture. The result is a streak trailing the subject. In animation, we can create the illusion of speed by adding motion blur to an image. In this tutorial, we'll use the Blur filter and motion tweening in Flash 8 to create the illusion. In this tutorial you will learn how to create guide lines to make items/objects curve instead of using a motion tween where it just goes in a straight line. The new spray brush tool in Flash CS4 is a lot of fun to play around with. You can load any symbol you want, make changes to the spray pattern using the properties panel, and even use the motion editor to create some really fun animations. Ugh, getting motion guides to work by just trial and error learning for me kinda sucked. But im gonna tell you how to get-r-done. Motion guides are guides you draw with say the pencil for an object to follow through frames of animation (THE GUIDE WILL NOT SHOW IN YOUR FINAL .SWF FILE .swf file is your flash file, .fla is the file you edit. We've just seen the motion tweening as a method to move a Flash symbols from one side to another of the stage. Nevertheless, we can take advantage of this program command to make animations in which our object increases or decreases its size in a progressive way. The trick involved here is to import 2 images to Flash, one is the normal image, and the other one is motion-blurred in Photoshop. Done! If you want the speed of the animation to be slower increase the amount of frames used or if you want it faster decrease the number of frames. For animation with movements, remember to use Motion Guides. |
