Basically what this code does is to take on blurry cloud shape, repeat it, rotate and and change position just a bit to make it seem alive. Then just simply made a mouse follow to the effect.
Do this by going to the Colors portion of the Tools panel. Click on the small paint bucket icon (1 in the image below) to select the fill color. Next, click on the small square with the red diagonal line at the bottom of the panel (2). You just blocked the fill color.

This tutorial will teach you how to create a custom cursor for your flash movie. Here we will be using movieclip symbol and little bit of actionscript to develop custom cursor. The .fla download file is included at the end of the tutorial
Now we can easily animate our curser, just double click the cursor movie clip on the stage and make a new keyframe in the time line, and make some changes to the cursor.
Before we get started, you need to find a nice cursor shape to play with. You can use the shape below (which is in png format)
Creating eye-catching effects in Flash might not be an easy task. Well, unless you know some tricks! For example, only the most skilled Flash developers can create impressive effects with Actionscript alone. Why not then combine your traditional animation skills (by "traditional" I mean "not Actionscripted") with just some basic AS code? This tutorial is an example of this tactic. In order to create a "buring cursor effect", or a "flame trailer" if you will, like the one you can see below, we are first going to create a short animation within a Movieclip, and then do the magic out of this by writing a few lines of code.
This tutorial will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to create a custom cursor in Flash CS3 using AS3. This a simple trick for beginners which they can use in a Flash website, a game, or even an animation. This tutorial does not require any pre-requisite knowledge. Create the line - use the line tool to create a short vertical line set the stroke colour to dark blue and the line width to 4 px. Tip: if you depress the Shift key while drawing you will constrain your line to a perfectly vertical, horizontal or 45 degree angle.
