Just wanted to point out that I believe the distinction you gave to rich black is wrong. The slider on the left (With just one color value) Is the color black with 100% black only in it from a CMYK perspective. The other black value you have is an RGB value. Rich black is a term used to define a black value in print pieces.

Change the colours of the new icon through the Filter > Colors > Adjust Colors option or manually select the mesh points with the Direct Selection Tool and add a new colour swatch.
