Beaver Stadium scoreboard renovations put on hold

Last May, Penn State launched a project to replace the two scoreboards at its football stadium, and new scoreboards were originally slated to be installed by the start of the 2012 season. However, Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations Mark Bodenschatz said that will not happen.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- The Pennsylvania Senate on Wednesday passed a $27.7 billion spending plan that would erase many cuts proposed by Gov. Tom Corbett, setting the stage for negotiations over the state budget that must be in place by July 1.
