How to Blog With ScribeFire

Blogging is a challenge, whether you are new or experienced, but being able to do it 'offline' can simplify matters. There are a few pieces of software that will allow you to do it. ScribeFire is a plugin that makes it easy for you. It can be used with Google, Safari, and Chrome.

Edit Steps

    Using your browser, go to ScribeFire.

    Click on 'Install Now!' and install it to your browser.

    Restart your browser.

    Look at the lower left of your browser and note the new icon.

    Click on 'Add a New Blog'. You will enter in the URL of your blog. Click on Next.

    Enter in the username and password.

    XML-RPC not enabled

    Hit enter or submit the information. If you get 'denied', it is because the XML-RPC has not been enabled. Enable it.

    Then submit the information.

    Look at your new screen. You see a series of bars that you can use to enter in information. Write your post.

    Add a category or categories for your blog entry. Also add any tags that you feel will help your article be seen.

    Choose whether the the article will be a Draft or Private and then Send to Blog.

    To insert an image, click on the 'tree' to add an image. You will get a screen that will allow you to enter in the information to get your image on line.
