A torus is a 3 dimensional circle that you can make very easily in SketchUp using the Follow Me tool. Read this article to learn how.

Edit Steps

  1. 1
    Using the Circle, create a circle, with the outside of it being the size you want the torus to be.

    Select the surface area inside the circle and delete it.

    With the Orbit tool, move your circle so that you are seeing the 'side' of it.

    Click on the large circular path and then click on the Follow Me tool. After that, click on the circle that you just added in the last step.
