How to Draw a Beagle
Did you know that Snoopy from the comic Peanuts is a beagle? He's considered one of the most famous dogs, but his cartoon likeness is not actually very beagle-like. To learn how to draw a more realistic beagle, follow the steps below!
EditSteps
-
1Draw the head. Sketch a circle as the main part of the head, then add a round oval to the bottom of that. Put two smaller overlapping ovals on top of that, as shown. Add in guidelines for the face.Ad
-
2Draw the beagle's facial features. Sketch almond shapes for the eyes, a large nose with prominent nostrils, a low mouth, and two curvy shapes for the ears.
-
3Draw a small, round circle oval for the neck. Below that, draw a circle and an oval for the body.
-
4Draw in your beagle's short legs. They should be comprised of two ovals each, with small circles for the paws. Add in a medium-sized tail, wagging in the air.
-
5Outline and color in your drawing! Beagles are usually white, with splotches of light and dark brown.Ad
