Geometric Functions for Polygon Objects

    

Function                 Description

AREA                     Area of the polygon.

EXTERIORRING             Outer ring of the polygon as LINESTRING.

INTERIORRINGN(g, N)      Inner ring of the polygon as LINESTRING.

NUMINTERIORRINGS         Number of inner rings (holes).
