About me. My name is Juan, I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, an island in the Caribbean, and an unincorporated territory of the United States. I am a former United States Marine (1978-1982, 2nd Marine Air Wing, SOES Cherry Point and HMM-161 @ MCAS(H) Tustin, CH-46 avionics) and a professional cat herder and trainer, auditor, private pilot (airplanes and gliders), avid cook and writer. I am married, live in downtown Boston and love to travel. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and am the current holder of the Guinness World Record for the World's Smallest Jet, a BD-5J Microjet, the same type of aircraft as the one which appeared in the James Bond movie "Octopussy" in the 1980's, starring Roger Moore.
