a little about me
Every user page needs to have some trivia about the user, so I have finally gotten around to adding some.
I have lots of hobbies and never enough time to do any of them since I found wikiHow. I like quilting, digital scrapbooking with Photoshop (a sample is the image below), photography and videography, genealogy, and when I get outside I like to ride motorcycles.
I spent over 20 years of my life working for police departments, doing communications (911 dispatching) and records (specifically database management). I don't know if I am any good with computers but have 4 of them to play with. One gets used for building web sites and quilt design; one is used for scrapbooking and videography, and the laptop is used for a variety of presentation functions. The fourth one is used by Mr-Man. I actually went to college to be a teacher, but discovered after a couple of years that teaching isn't my cup of tea.
a couple of photos

Yes I am wearing a rain suit and have a bit of helmet-hair going on. (Most of our trips are taken on our motorcycle.) I loved standing by the river and listening to the roar of the water as it went over the waterfall. Yellowstone National Park is one of my favorite places and I am always awed and inspired by the wonders of nature there.
I also love all the national parks in Utah, the Grand Canyon, the Black Hills, and the awesome Rocky Mountains. Of course, I think the only way to visit them is on a motorcycle, which for us is a Gold Wing.
Some day I may post some more Yellowstone photos such as our nose-to-nose confrontation with a buffalo.
Here's a snapshot of our in-town transportation.
They don't go very fast and you can't carry much, but they are marvelous on gas mileage and are just a lot of fun to ride around town. The yellow one is named PeeWee, and the blue one is Peanut.
I wonder how they are going to go in the snow next winter.
