I think the best idea that was used at my school is to download a different web broswers, where your aloud to edit those internet connecions, and bypass it much easier that on internet explorer, but what it really comes down to is you must do your look and seaching on HOME comps to figure out how to bypass SCHOOL/WORK comps, which makes the most sense.

I just LOVE watching you all put so much effort into trying to bypass Websense. Imagine how smart you would all be if you used your time productively and actually attempted to learn something at school instead of playing games or messing around on Myspace. Just an FYI about Websense...they have what's called a "Real Time Monitor" which watches your every move as it's happening. You might be able to find a working proxy and bypass Websense but your fun won't last. Eventually, the network admins will figure it out and block that too. Happy surfing!

the fire fox thing works guys dont import anything and then go to google type in vtunnel search and open up the SSL you can view everything but you cant send messages on anything like face book. it should allow you to play games

theres a way you can bypass through firefox you go to tools,options,advanced,network,settings,then click manual proxy configuration, then just type in a proxy ip and port and ur good to go.

email [email protected] if you want to find a way past websense i talked to a few IT people i know from around town adn there is no way for websence to block this way but to reformat ALL communications on the computers.

Find a proxy or circumvention site. Sites such as https://www.bypassr.com offer a way to bypass Websense by, for example, using a secure connection (note that the url begins with "https," not "http"). You can access the circumventor or proxy site, and then access blocked sites through that. Type the url you want to go to in the box on the site. Once you access the proxy site, enter the address of the site you want to go to in the box on the screen. Turn your home computer into a circumventor. Since proxy sites are constantly being blocked, you may want to create your own.

Install a circumventor program. At Peacefire.org you can download a circumventor program on your home computer so that you can access blocked sites at other locations by connecting to your home computer. Download a couple programs, and run the setup, and the program will give you a url you can use to access it from anywhere. Write down this url and carry it with you. Note: you don't download the programs onto the computer with the filter--you download them onto another computer that you can connect to from the filtered computer. Enter the url for your home computer in the web browser on the filtered computer. When you're at a computer with a filtered connection (at work or at the library, for instance), simply enter the circumventor program gave you, and you will be able to access blocked sites via your home computer. Note that this will only work if your home computer is on and connected to the internet.

For websense not to block the site www.unblockerlite.info/ you have to click on 220.225.88.69 link near the top of the page. For some reason when you type in the addresse on a new page websense blocks it, i hope this can be usful to some people.

Wow, it seems that all of us here want to bypass websense...

there are lots of ways how to bypass websense and there are lots of ways how to block ur proxies.

Most of the Proxy web site has a Meta Tag with word PROXY. WebSense has a DB to collect all the URL that needs to be block according to there filter, even if you use the IP address but the web page has a Meta Tag name Proxy it will still block same as Web Messenger

ok. everyone here that gives a website that has the word proxy in it will get it blocked anyways. Websense's database picks up anything with the word proxy in it and autonatically blocks it. Try to find a way to get to a proxy blocker but with the url having a name with: hidden, invisible, proxyblocker, proxy, or bypass. If it has those words in it, it will get picked up. i will try to make a site later to try to get passed websense.

I think it's funny how all you people just try to get around a web filter using websites. The admin will look up every site in the log and test it, if he's any good. Also, he can look at the top 30 sites and go from there.

If I were you, and I'm in that situation at work right now, I'd set up a VPN at home (or somewhere you know there is a computer with complete access to the Internet) and VPN into your home computer and surf from there.

My buddy is stuck in Saudi Arabia and he cannot surf most of the sites out there so he set up a VPN at home, logs in, and can surf every site available to him from his home (which is the whole Internet). I'm in the process of doing the same.

Ok. . . I'll give ya'll a little hand. Where I am they use websene too. . . and it is indeed a bitch to get around. But not impossible.

Follow these instructions and you have a chance to bypassing websene.

1) Open up Notepad and Paint

2) Go to Start -> Run

3) type ping blah.com (replace with the url that you are trying to get to [don't include the www part or extentions of the url])

4) A window will pop up, then Printscreen

5) Open Paint and press Ctrl+V

6) Open Notepad and type the IP into notepad, highlight it and press Ctrl+C

7) Open IE or whatever web browser you use and type: http://(Press Ctrl+V to paste the IP)

8) Hit enter. If this works then great, you go to the main page of the website. . . then all you need to do is to know the extension. . .so for example: http://(IP)/games

Take note though. . . that you wont be able to get to ALL pages this way. By accessing a webpage by using its IP you ignore its meta tags, however. . . if they have blocked the IP too, then you cant gain access to the page.

P.S: The URL that was given in the post above this works well. . . I have tried and tested it

u kno wot guys - the article "bypass-websense" itself is blocked by the websense. rite now i can only discuss on this article...but i m not sure how long i can do this!! eventually even a discussion will be blocked!! websense is blocking everything which can help one to bypass it!! its the best web-content-blocker available in the market - mebbe its a challenge for the best hacker to hack it!!

Here is a quick way to bypass syncroneyes when your screen has been broadcasted over/locked, however it may not work with websense. hit the shift key rapidly 5 times in a row. A 'Sticky Keys' pop-up will appear this allows you to use Task Manager, use task manager ot locate Syncroneyes(or websense if it works) and end its processes. Hopefully that should do it... I know osme other ways but im trying these out in school =)

alright, for some websense users, depending on how much your faculty has already covered with bypassing schemes, when youre logged into your account, go to internet browser, rapidly click between favorites and whatever shortcut is located to the left. repeat this for about 10 seconds or once your browser freezes, then type in the url and it will bypass 9 out of 10 times. if you dont type in the url in less than about 30 seconds the browser catches up and you have to do it again, good luck

yo!it's is to break against websense just go to "run" on ur computer then type "cmd" when it comes up type, (ping youtube.com)it comes up up with the ip then copy that to addres bar, thats it. but dont forget to type "ping" in cmd, and it works with everysite.

or go to wikipedia.org then type "websense" go down to end of the page the last part has stupid cencorship click on that and thats a proxy.

ok. The easiest way to do this is just to put portable firefox onto a usb stick at home and run that at school, and when your on that you can go on most the proxy sites, and most of the desired sites without proxy avoidance. And also at our school sometimes the backround doesnt come up on your desktop and it shows an error message. Near the bottom there is an IP address. Put that into the normal browser and it will be the main page for the websense program. You cant then enter the page and open up some ports so it allows access to certain sites. but be careful if you get caught you kinda get screwed. I think you can also find the IP on the router. You should stop trying to use proxies aswell because they will just keep getting blocked!

see, the thing about my proxy website is... it doesn't have any words on it, especially the word proxy, it doesn't look suspicious in any way, even the URL doesn't have a word in it, and it is known only by my closest friends, and myself.

so what i suggest you do as a fellow proxifier, (oldies proxy site joke) is find a proxy that works, use it all the time... and don't fucking post it on the most famous site on the internet about proxies... don't brag to your tech teacher how smart you are cuz you know how to get on myspace. (like an idiot at my school did) and you will be all right proxy-wise for the rest of your life.

1. at home download a program called ultra Surf. 2. put this in your flash drive 3. run at school This should open up a japenise version of google 4. type the website you want in the search bar 5. enjoy free access to all you favorite websites

My name is Daimian. I work at a college in Suffolk. I am the IT manager there, just to let you know, if you are trying to get round websense it practically impossable. When you go onto a website, the computer you are on, goes to the main server, which is where the proxy server is. If websense allows the site, you can continue, if not ur stuck. Websense looks at every address thats is recorded and goes through the proxy server. Hence blocked sites. There are two ways that you can bypass this at the moment.

1.) One is the simple solution. Open Internet explorer and go tools ---> options. then go to the connections tab. If the connections tab is not there, this is not an option now. So go to 2). If it is there, simply take off the proxy settings.

2.) Use another program (Firefox) at the moment the craze is to use firefox portable. There is no way to stop users changing the proxy tabs in firefox.

A better bet would be to run a portscan of your entire network and find any servers with open HTTP proxy ports (8080). Then just use those IPs in your proxy tabs instead.

Of course, you're liable to get caught when a network admin sees hundreds of pings flooding the network from your machine but TBH, most IT admins aren't paid enough to care about things like that. Especially if you're only in highschool

www.stars21.com isn't blocked at my school, because of the educational part, its ok, not the best site like www.mofunzone.com but the school has blocked all the good sites, i would bypass it but the school keeps a close tab on what each student dose on the computer so downloading firefox would get me kicked out for a week possibly. One effective way (although a much more complicated one) is to run an SSH server off of your home PC, and use an SSH client that can act as a SOCKS host on the school/work computer, and then connect via SSH on either port 80 or 443 (443 works best, as it's already encrypted data) to your home PC, and then configure IE or FireFox to run from a SOCKS host 127.0.0.1 on port 8080. Stop saying it's impossible to get around it. It's only impossible for all you kids out there who think the only way to do it is to take down WebSense or use a silly proxy site.
