User Pages are a great way to add familiarity to the people you may meet on wikiHow. They can say a lot about a person and their interests. They are the one space on wikiHow where you can personalize to your heart's content; your own personal space. Here's how to create one.

- 1Find your User Page. Click on your username, at the upper right of any page, or on the My Profile button.

Take a look around your page. - 3Click the Create Profile button. If you'd rather create an advanced page, because you know how to use wiki code, click the edit tab instead.
Click the Create Profile button. - 4Fill out the first boxes with the appropriate information. Remember that you don't have to fill them all out, and you can be as specific or general as you like. Take a look at this article for tips on what information to add and what information to keep to yourself. You could write something entertaining in the About Me box, or indeed something rather boring and self interested. It's up to you.

They can be a good way to measure the extent of your contributions, but always remember that it's quality, not quantity that counts. And nobody likes people who boast.

- 7Upload an image to go at the top of your profile. As always, this is entirely optional. Click on the Upload Image square in the top-left corner of your user page.

This image could be a photograph of your face, but if you don't want people to see this (recommended if you're under 16) you could choose a drawing that you may have drawn, or an image that represents your interests or personality in some way. There is some advice in this article.
- 9Crop your image. If you only want a certain part of the image to be visible, or the image isn't a square shape, you should use the cropping tool to cut it down to size. Bear in mind that the image is only going to be shown at a very small size, and so you don't want the selected area to contain too many things or be overly confusing. For example, you'll probably only want to show your face, rather than your whole body, your family and your six cats as well.
