A "How-To" on a Palm computer function.

Edit Steps

  1. 1
Install the Palm OS software on the other computer you want to sync to. By having the software installed on the other computer, you will be able to put photos from that computer on your Palm, documents, music, etc.
  2. 2
Open the software after installing it.
  3. 3
Click on the Tool drop down menu at the top of the page.
  4. 4
Click on Users, and add your name.
  5. 5
You must have your hot sync hardware device on a USB port of that computer.
  6. 6
Put your Palm on the hot sync device, and press the hot sync button. It may ask you about a new user.
  7. 7
    Answer the questions appropriately.

Edit Tips

  • Technical support is available on the Palm.com website. Don't be afraid of it.

Edit Warnings

  • It will not "hot sync" on another computer without your Palm OS software, the one that fits with your own Palm computer.

Edit Things You'll Need

  • Palm computer
  • Palm OS software disk
  • Hot Sync device
  • Patience
