Have you noticed someone who seems to be flirting, but you're not sure they like you as more than a friend? The language of love can be detected with some tricks to find out if someone is trying to hit on you.

- 1See if they listen to you. If they seem to listen to you, especially when you tell them your likes and dislikes. Mostly they will try to show how similar they are to you. For example, they might say "I love camping too," to try to connect with you.
- 2They use language that tell they are available. For example, they might say, "My ex girlfriend use to go to..." is a indicator the person is out of any romantic relationships and are available to you.
- 3Watch to see if the person acts differently around you. People who like someone tend to smile around them. Sometimes they act shy and nervous around the person they like. People may act urgent, like they want to do something but they can't.
- 4Try flirting with them. If they return, they might like you.
- 5See if they stare at you. If they do, wink slyly and grin.
- 6If their pupils are dilated, they are interested in you. Stare deeply into their eyes to see if they are.
- 7Go to a horror movie with them. If they react positively to you cuddling with them when you're scared, they must like you!
- 8Try casually calling them "baby" or "sweetheart." If they notice and react positively to this, or start calling you terms like that, then they probably like you!
- 9Kiss them. This is the final step in determining if they like you.

- If they point their feet towards you, they're interested in you.
- If they seem creeped out by your analysis, they're probably just nervous. Continue with what you are doing until you get a positive reaction.
Edit Warnings
- If you aren't sober, nor is the person hitting on you, your/their sense of judgement is not good, so decisions you make can be later regretted.
- If you are bad at winking, practice in a mirror so when the time comes to wink at them, you are ready.
- Some people naturally have large pupils. Before seeing if they have large pupils, ask the person if they have large pupils.
