Abstract art is around us for about 100 years but many of us don't know how to do it. Why not give it a try,it might be easier than you think.
Edit Steps
- 1Prepare a surface. Paper, canvas, wood, paper is good for a first painting.
- 2Choose a medium. Paint is very good for painting abstract but other media such as pastels can be either used as main media or secondary. There's no rules in abstract!
- 3Try painting with the non-dominant hand. It gives an abstract effect.
- 4Try to paint with two brushes in both hands. Draw lines and curves.
- 5Throw paint on the surface and paint over.
- 6Paint lines while shaking your hand the effect is a bit spiky.
- 7Mix glitters with paint.
