If your looking for ways to package food for the freezer, then keep reading if your doing it to save money at the grocery store

Edit Steps

  1. 1
First off divide your meat into your set serving sizes.
  2. 2
Get a plastic zip bag big enough to hold the portion size, plus a little extra room for the meat to expand from the freezing process.
  3. 3
Put the meat into the bag, take a rolling pin and flatten the meat(ground meat).
  4. 4
Squeeze as much of the air as you can get out, if needed zip the bag close to being closed and put in a straw and suck out more of the air(this will prevent freezer burns).
  5. 5
Date the bag so you know how long it's been in your freezer.

Edit Warnings

  • Be very sure you rotate your frozen goods keeping the older near the Front/Top so you won't end up with something that is to old to eat.
