Want to customize a wikiHow template with a message? Here are a few considerations:

Edit Steps

  1. 1
    Use the basic concepts found in how to Create a wikiHow Template.
  2. 2
    Include a word, phrase or date within your template.

    • Surround a number with three curly brackets.
    • Use {Template:1} for one comment.
    • Use {Template:2} for two comments.
    • Use {Template:3} for three comments and so on.
    • Example: {{TEMPLATE NAME|1 COMMENT|2 COMMENTS|3 COMMENTS}}

Edit Tips

  • Keep a note of your template code for future changes.
  • Changes to a template will appear throughout wikiHow. For example, if you change one comment to two comments, then two comments will appear throughout wikiHow.
